This thread is a huge WIP! I am going to get some pictures and other stuff up soon, but until then... it's just going to be boring I suppose.

Hello and welcome to Riverside Stables! This is a place where eqeustrians
can come adopt a horse of their own that has been taken in and tamed. They
can choose to stay at the Riverside Manor and train, ride, and compete with
their horse. There will be various competitions and other fun activities to
compete in. Come have some fun!

This roleplay is for those users who own a horse from the adoptable oekaki,
"Riverside Stables". Please do not join if you do not own a horse from there.

-Please no god-modding, power-playing, Gary or Mary-Sues, ect. Not every horse or rider is perfect. They can't get everything right the first time and they can't win every competition.
-You must own a horse from the Riverside Stables adoption center in order to join.
-Don't leave anyone out!
-Always give recaps. If someone asks for a recap, the next person to post must give one.
-No cursing, please!
-Fade to black if things go that far.

Personality: Vow has two sides to his personality. There is his "normal" personality and his "arena" personality. In general, Vow is very bold and serious. However, he does know how to have fun and enjoys this. You just have to get to know him to see this side of him, though. He is quite charming, even before you get to know him, but even more so when you get closer to him. He is an amazing leader and is usually very calm and kind, unless you make him angry. When he is mad, he has quite the temper. In the arena, Vow is a skilled competitor and displays the traits of being arrogant and proud. It's a whole new side when you step into the ring. He is a tough, well-trained stallion, which makes him a feared competitor. Although he has been beaten many times
before, he doesn't let to dwell on the past. Even on his victories. Instead, he likes to focus on the competitions ahead of him.
Vow is also very determined. Once he sets is mind on something he won't quit until it's accomplished. A lot of times, this
includes trying to push himself past his limit. He is also a bit of a flirt inside the arena, but he tries not to let
love get in the way of competing.

History: Vow was born on a farm in the US. He was raised to be in races, but he never seemed to take up the discipline. When he was four years old, he was shipped overseas to Afghanistan where he was used on the battlefield. Once night, during a raid, his rider was killed and he ended up entangled in a barbed wire fence. It wasn't until two laters later when he was discovered, close to death. They were going to put him down, but one of the soliders said that he deserved a chance if he could survive all of that. He was airlifted to the nearest medical facility to be taken care of. He was eventually healed, despite all odds, and moved to Riverside Stables, where Natalie Hall adopted him. He automatically clicked with Show Jumping and has been doing it ever since.

Mate: Not yet. He hopes to one day get a mate, settle down, and have a few foals, though.

History: "I'm not too sure of his back story, but his mother was a race horse and I think somehow she was related to Secretariat. I'm not sure how, but that's what I was told. Of course, he was the rebel of all the foals in the pastures, and he decided one day he was gonna be a real... well, un-smart colt, during the winter, and he decided to go check out the ice. He slipped, fracturing his leg. That's one mixed up horse, I tell ya. He's one heck of a load to handle, especially when he was younger. His leg's healed up perfectly fine now. I'm not sure of the rest."
Crush: "I hope he don't have a crush on no horse. He'll always rely on me, he should love me, nobody else."
Mate: "Yuck! Disgusting! Never!"
Other: "He's never for anybody else to ride. He's not a lesson horse, so keep away! Also, I'm training him, so he'd probably buck you off if you even tried to get on him. Don't lay a finger on him, or I'll lay a boot on you." *Growling quietly and defensively*
