Cloudberry did a soft purr. She wished they could find the killer, and soon.

Cloudberry raced to her apprentice. "Its ok Tumblepaw. You should never witness this. We will found out who did this. I think it was Featherheart." She whispered to Tumblepaw.

Featherheart growled softly thinking to herself. The killer needed to be found a driven out soon. There were only a few cats she suspected. Her heart was divided. She heard her name being mentioned but she didn't pay much attention.

Cherrystar was thinking in her den when she noticed the cats of her clan leave the camp. Not another kill.. she silently pleaded to Starclan. She didn't hear of the death of a clan member until she heard the angry yowls that drove Willowstrike away. She had hoped her clan was right.
Crawling out of the den she raced over to the scene. "Oh no.." she sighed, hanging her head low. "Why?"
It seemed nobody noticed her arrival as she listened to what they were saying. Cloudberry seemed to quick to judge who killed Lapislazuli. Though she didn't speak her thought's out loud, she suspected Cloudberry of murder.
Quickly, she gathered her wits and tried to calm the clan.
"We will find out who killed Sagepaw and Lapislazuli. We must have faith that the killer will be dealt with, and soon." She tried to keep from locking her gaze with Cloudberry, but she just had a feeling it was her.

Cloudberry couldn't see some of her clan mates looking at her. Her bright blind eyes, scaned the camp, without seeing. "They won't kill you, or they'll have to kill me first."

"But you won't have to die, right? Because.. Because were going to get rid of the killer once and for all now, aren't we?" Tumblepaw gulped, shuffling back to look at her mentor hopefully. "Then everything will be fine again, right?"

As Tumblepaw pleaded that Cloudberry wouldn't have to die, he felt sorrow run down his spine. She might, depending on her side. He didn't want Tumblepaw's mentor to be a killer. She didn't want her teacher to die, but she wanted the killer gone. I hope whatever Starclan decides in the right choice.. She looked at her worried clan, and I hope they make it soon.
"Tumblepaw, whatever happens, your clan will be there for you. " She forced a smile. What if I'm next?

Tumblepaw gulped, not moving away from Cloudberry. "But what if there's no clan left soon? What is we never find the killer?" she sniffled, on the verge of a second mental breakdown. Willing herself to stay calm, the apprentice tried to keep her breathing even.

"Its ok, I rather die then you. I had a life, but you still need to live. Let's hope that the clan gets rid of the killer. I can't stand seeing, well not really seeing cause I can't, but bare another part of my family. My clan is my family. And I couldn't stand being without you." Cloudberry mewed trying to calm her apprentice.

"Tumblepaw," Cherrystar tried to soothe the apprentice,"You will always have the clan. I am not talking about Thunderclan. Starclan is always watching, and they love you. They will guide you. If all else fails, turn to them." She nudged her, trying to keep her calm. I hope I am right..
