Welcome!
I invite you to witness the sweetest comeback in history of MMMs. This thread is only temporarily here for 50-75 Mammoths that way we can get some new lines and other fantastic things.
Also, a revamped thread means revamped everything, our previous staffers included. An artist competition will be held shortly after this is posted. In the meantime, daretodream12890 and I will be creating a few mammoths.
Rules
>> the maximum of 5 mammoths still applies ;; this includes older mammoths
>> no customs ;; do not ask
>> any mammoths created here are not allowed to be revamped on the soon-to-come new lines
>> do not add anything to your mammoths ;; you get them exactly how they are designed
>> respect everything and everyone ;; please be patient ;; have fun!

All we need is one stamp, so take one if you will.
It's small and convenient. <3

About
A Mini Maned Mammoth (or MMM) is a new species found on an unknown island near the coast of Antarctica. We have come to believe these creatures are decedents of a breed of Mammoths. They are roughly the size of an every-day horse, though, so definitely not as big as their extinct brethren.
Mini Maned Mammoths seem to not warm up to humans, and we assume this is slightly because they have many blind-spots where humans could easily spook them. They also don't seem like they could adapt so easily on a different land mass, as this island they have inhabited has extremely rare vegetation that consists of their everyday diet. For example, there are vivid colored berries, low hanging fruit from the trees, and blue grass that grows around the coastal region of this island.
This island that they have lived on for, it seems, decades, has never shown up on maps before. Although we want to take the island for research, we have decided to protect it from just that to save these wonderful creatures. It is slightly too cold during nightfall for humans to inhabit anyway, even if there is no snow or ice on the ground. Instead, we are allowing people adopt them just to observe them, have one to call their own, and name them, of course.
The color range of these Mini Maned Mammoths seem to consist of mainly natural colors, but there's quite the number of other unnatural colored pelts. Either way, these animals are definitely an exotic, colorful beauty.
Some Mini Maned Mammoths live in packs or herds, which are called Woolas. The male MMMs are known as bulls, females as cows, and the babies are called calfs, like that of the everyday cattle. We are not sure if there are any exact dominant or submissive ranks in the Woolas, but they all seem to follow two main Mini Maned Mammoths, which we believe to be mates. It is also believed that these animals mate for life; rarely ever changing their significant other.
