Yeah, but a lot of commons hatch at 200-300ish, so as soon as it gets there, it would just hatch instead of turning xD.
I'll try with an uncommon this time (got an Ember with 3 days left. is at 2 now), and will get another common with the same time, and will try with a little less minutes left.

Indeed, that's true. I remember that the waterhorses aren't that great to use for it (they hatch way too fast, especially if one calculates the ToD wrong). I usually went along with just about anything I felt like grabbing, mostly waterwalkers and some horses if I don't remember it all wrong. At times reds and pebbles too (but I don't recommend using pebbles, their eggs are much too similar to the NDs). The egg I've fogged on my scroll right now that I'll make an attempt with soon is a tropical (if my memory doesn't make me all blind, seriously, I've been away from DC for much too long. I need to study the wikia again, lol ), so I guess that I'll see if how that one will behave. :3

I do like the holidays... But when people decide to throw out eggs for the newer eggs... It saddens me.... I found this lil' guy when I was hunting for a holly. I thought it would have a messy lineage till I checked and found out, it was a CB. He'll have a nice home with the rest of my magmas.

With the neglected dragons, would it be possible to get them like, half the amount of views ahead of time, then get them the rest when they are about to die?

No, they must have no views. When it's time for them to die, get the views quickly.

Aww.... yeah, I don't like it either. If you look at my scroll, actually, it's full of hatchies from low time eggs I grabbed from the huge list in the AP. I wish I could take them all, but I'm 2 growing dragons away from being locked completely.

I remember that some tried it years ago, but I don't remember exactly how it turned out for them. I might remember a lot of the stuff people came up with back then (partly because we were still having our discussion about the NDs in DC's forums, but then when far too many started to be successful that subject was banned and for a while we used various different sites that we created to contiune with the NDs, but all of them "died" in due time), but it's far from everything I remember, unfortunately. /: And there's even some theories that I never had the chance to try with the NDs because I for one lived in a different timezone compared to most of the people who dared to experiment with the NDs and the few times when some friends who lived in the same timezone as me agreed to help; they forgot about that and I had to do it "the normal way" (i.e. try to make it turn on my scroll, if it turn and completely run out of time, force it out (with that risking to make the hatchling run away to the AP or risk killing the egg). I wish to try it someday (surely the part with the AP won't work these days, so teleport with have to do).

And lol, Nowl are much too fast for me because I write too darn much. :P
