Blake watched them walk away. He watched Norman talk with Shaun about something, and Grace walking along beside them. He turned his head to Norman's old partner when he walked up.

He nodded. "Alright." He stated plainly. His ears perked up when Hendrix asked him about Ethan. "Mars..." he growled, "I, um, I don't think Ethan and I are on very good terms right now." He explained, trying to sound more calm. "I did accuse him, after all. " He stared at Jayden again. "And Jayden was right. He...was right. Ethan wasn't the Origami Killer...neither was Korda or Nathaniel..."

Norman looked down at Madison and slowly nodded. He rubbing her shoulders, turned her around, and proceeded to walk out the door. "Come on, Butterfly." he whispered, "Let's go find Blake...he'll make us feel better." H replied sarcastically, but once out in the hall way, Norman stopped and let Maddy do whatever is was she needed to do to let her feelings out. Cry on his shoulder, scream, yell, anything that needed to be done. "Sh, sh, it's ok, it's ok." He said softly. "Let it out, let it out."

Shaun ran up to his dad and hugged him. "Daddy!" He ran into his arm and wrapped around him. He giggled. "Hey, Dad, are you alright? Mom told me what happened." He tightened his grip, his arms only reached Ethan's thigh. "You're gonna be ok, right?"

Ethan put his hand on Shaun's back, though his smile soon faded after he found out that Shaun knew. "Yeah, yeah, Shaun, I'm fine. It'll all be okay. Don't worry about me, okay?" he said, smiling once more. He picked Shaun up and put him on his shoulder; he was quite light to be his age, though that wasn't a huge surprise.

"Oh, yeah.." Zayden said kind of quietly, now sort of wishing he didn't bring it up. He didn't mean to strike a chord with the man, but he was beginning to figure out that doing so wasn't something that was exactly hard to do. He cleared his throat. "Um, well, anyways, maybe you can get to the bottom of this case?" he said hopefully, though it didn't seem to be going anywhere..for anyone.

Shaun let out a quick laugh as he felt himself being lifted up by his father and placed on his shoulders. He placed his hands on Ethan's shoulders to hold on. "Good." He reassured. "Maybe, with everything alright again, we can be happy again! It can be like old times!" He shouted out of excitement. "We can go back to the park every day, and have lots of laughs. We can move back into our old house...we can all move back in!"

Carter turned his head to Norman's old partner. "Oh, I hope so. I really hope so." While he was talking, he put his hands in his coat pockets. "Everyone's gotten an origami...I just wonder what they want with us. And I hope we can find out fast!

The room became awkward after that last comment; honestly, Ethan and Grace hadn't really communicated much ever since what had happened. They only did when they had to, and it was obvious their relationship was over. Ethan, however, finally decided to speak up, his smile still there although slightly forced now. "Yeah, maybe we can." he said. "What would you like to do for now?" he asked.

Zayden nodded slightly. "Yeah.." he said somberly, looking at the ground.

Shaun smiled. "Really? Yeah!" he laughed some. "We can be one big happy family again!" He then stopped and pondered a few moments. "Hm...well, we can play a board game! Yeah, I think I saw some in the cabinet over that when Norman brought me in!" He said with glee, pointing to the elongated cabinet. "Can we?" He asked, looking back down at his dad's hair.

Carter gave a gentle sigh and turned to Hendrix. "So, what did the doctors say about Graybay?" He asked, his eyebrow raised. That kid...that kid seemed to have an interest in what they were doing.

Ethan nodded, sitting his son down. "Sure," he said, making his way over to the cabinet. He opened it and scanned over the options quickly; there were your average children's board games, of course. He stepped out of the way so that he could see. "Which one would you like to play?" he asked.

Zayden shrugged. "They haven't said anything yet. If you want, we can go check on her now. We haven't been up there for a while; they may have checked on her already." he said.

Shaun ran over to the cabinet excitedly as fast as his legs could carry him, not tripping over anything of course. His eyes fell upon every game, every colorful box, every popping title. His eyes widened at all the games. He powered over them, before choosing wisely--his favorite game, Life. He picked it up from the stack of game and held it preciously in his arms. "How about this one? Life?" He asked, showing it proudly to his dad. "Can we play, Dad, can we?" The ten year old was already setting it up on the small table before his dad could even say anything. "Mom! Do you want to play? What color do you want to be?"

Hearing this, Blake turned his head carefully over to Zayden. "Oh, that's good." he replied with a shrug, not really knowing what to say or do. Carter Blake wasn't one for small talk...he wasn't one for people in general, so when Norman's old partner suggested they go pay their friend Graybay a visit, he crunched on the inside. Ugh...people. Not wanting to be rude (That's an understatement), Blake slowly wrenched a smile. "Sure...let's go see her. " He resettled his hands nervously in his pockets. He felt bad that this happened. First the key...then the Lion...then Ethan in a coma...now Graybay hit by a car. Maybe they had no connection, but, still.

Ethan laughed slightly at Shaun's excitement to play a board game, and he really couldn't even remember the last time that they had done this. "Yeah, sure," he said, pulling up a few chairs for everyone. He picked up the blue pawn, eyeing it slightly before setting it back down. He would let everyone else choose their colors before he did his.

Grace had honestly planned on leaving after she dropped Shaun off, but there was no way that she would say no to spending a little more time with him. She smiled as she sat her purse down and approached the table, her eyes gazing over the colorful pieces before shrugging. "It doesn't matter. I can be any color." she said.

Zayden headed back over to the elevator, trying to remember her room number as he pressed the button. He waited patiently, putting his hands in his pockets. Being with Blake was..awkward. More than awkward. They were both quiet and antisocial, so conversation never really got..anywhere.

Shaun smiled largely as his hand swept across the many pieces. After a while, he chose his favorite color. Orange. He put the little player into the plastic car and zoomed him across the bored to the starting place, making car noises along the way. He looked back up at his mother and father, smiling wildly again as he picked his car back up again and drove it all over the board. He laughed, and then set his eyes on the colorful spinner. "This gonna be fun!" He giggled a childish giggle.

Carter stepped into the elevator as it dinged and the doors swung open. His eyes watched Zayden's hand carefully as he pushed the button on the elevator's side. He felt the floor beneath them jolt, signaling they were moving. Up or down, Carter had no idea. After a while, Blake let out a long sigh and placed his head on the back wall, slowly pulling a hand through his hair. He cast a shy glance over at Hendrix. Should he say something?
