love. it is a peculiar thing. some find it on their own, some are forced into it, and others simply never find it. for the five boys, they are being forced into it. though it may sound harsh, it is actually normal and the five boys, or shall we just call them what they are; princes, were expecting it. each prince is from a different small castle, each in areas of england, and each is being paired with the girl of their parents choice. some of these girls are english, others are american, or spanish, maybe irish. point is, each of these princes are to attend a ball, specifically a masquerade, filled with girls that each of the boy's parents have approved. though maybe not all of the people there really want to be there, the night of the ball will definitely be one to remember.

it doesn't end after the ball though, the boys must still find their princesses, and live happily ever after, or maybe not. with everyone wearing a mask, it should be rather difficult to find the beautiful sweetheart, or fiery brunette. it was planned for though, as all of the girls that attended the ball will be staying in a small village together, while the boys stay in a small castle outside the village. everyone will be here for a month as the parents think that will be long enough to find a suiting girl. once the princes have chosen their beauty, both will return to their castle where they will see if they truly do like or even love each other. the only drawbacks for the girls is that once a prince chooses you, you must return with them even if you don't want to. so how will your month in england be spent, seeking out princes or hiding from them?

so basically there are five princes, all from england, they all know each other but are not related, and each has to find a princess. there is a ball being put on by the parents of all the boys, so they will all be at one ball and all the girls will be at the same ball. there are more than just the five girls and the princes there and in the rest of the roleplay, but they are unimportant, so all of the girls will end up with a prince. so the other girls (not the five and not being roleplayed) can be used to create drama between the princes and the five girls that are being roleplayed. anyways, the ball is one night only, and the month after the ball, all of the girls from the ball live in one little village, almost in a hotel sort of, and the boys will all live on the outskirts of that village. all the pairs will already be assigned and are put up on the characters page, so there can be fighting over a prince (in character of course, there will never be fighting in occ) but one girl will end up with him, no matter how much the other girl likes him better. oh, this is also modern times so there's cars and cell phones and all that stuff... oh, also all the boys have known each other and grown up together, but the ladies met a few nights before the ball, so some have already forged friendships

(if in the description it says 'at the ball, so and so came to be friends with so and so' that's what happens, so even if you don't play that part out, they are still friends when the month after the ball begins)

james edward hunt - 18 - played by; Keriae - paired with; diana calum lovelace
james edward hunt is a very handsome lad from the town of Colburn, England. he will happily respond to Prince, Your Highness, or just james. this boy is very laid back and doesn't have much of a temper. in fact, he is probably the quietest of the group, but the smartest as well. one of james's favorite things to do at home is to sit in his extravagant library and read anything and everything he can find. don't be fooled though, this boy is quite the ball of fun once you get to know him, and can hardly turn down a challenge. like every prince should be, james is truly a gentleman. he's the kind of boy that will give you his jacket if your cold, and hold open doors for you. one thing he swears he will never do, is rush a girl into a relationship she doesn't want. though he may be kind of a bookworm, he is by no means out of shape, and plays a few sports to keep himself healthy and occupied. another surprising thing about james is his love of designing architecture. if you can't find him in the library, he's probably hidden away in his bedroom making sketches of buildings he hopes to have built someday. of course he would have to show someone these drawings for anything to ever happen for him. prince four is he closest friend, and he enjoys the company of all the other princes too, but sometimes bentley really gets on his nerves. during the ball, he comes to bond with henley, resent bridget, and fancy diana.

felix louis ardell - 18 - played by; benexo - paired with; viria alexandra lights
this hot shot from Ellesmere, England, and goes by the name felix louis ardell. he is the baby of the group of princes, but only by about three and a half months, but the others never let him forget it. he is sort of the cheeky boy of the group, and is quite a flirt too, but unlike most flirts, felix is a gentleman about it, and definitely doesn't kiss on the first date. he doesn't go out to break girls' hearts, he goes out to live life and have some fun. he loves a good party, and can always have fun on the dance floor. he's rather sporty as well, but a couple trips to the gym will also suit this boy and his lean and muscular build. he can get a bit cocky and competitive at times, but for the most part, he is one of the most mature of the five. felix is a real sweetheart, but often times his friends images rub off on him, and people think of him as a rich snob that gets anything and everything he wants, but that's barely true. though he has no fears of going bankrupt any time soon, his parents have always encouraged him to work for himself, so he does. he is one of the few who actually worked to pay for most of the things he has, another reason he is more mature. felix seems to be drawn to danger despite himself, and loves doing things nobody else would ever try. two of his favorite activities are sky diving, and dirt bike riding. he is friendly to everyone, but he likes the company of henley, bentley, and venus, though he doesn't really like zach, but he keeps that to himself. there is one girl that catches his eye though, and that is viria.

introducing charles marius holloway the third. he will be the first of the five boys to get crowned king, ruler of his town Wetherby, England. charles is the most mature one of the group, always disciplining the others and making sure nobody dies on their "fun" little outings. most of the guys think of him as the oldest brother, and he kind of is, he's the oldest anyway. he is in shape, but he is not anywhere near as in love with sports as the other guys, and occasional trip to the gym, or one on one game of futbol will do it for him. it's like he inherited some freak metabolism that the second he digests something, it just disappears. though charles may be the mature one, he can let go and have fun sometimes, just not around the boys. he feels like if they ever saw him having fun, they would give him endless crap about it, even though it is completely irrational. charles sometimes can get like that, overanalyzing and over thinking everything. he really just needs someone to tell him to calm down and that everything is fine when he gets like that. one other thing that helps him clear his head is running, long and hard. he is a phenomenal runner, though he would never admit it, and with some training could probably come close to some record times. charles isn't super particular about his friends, as he likes all of the boys and girls, or he hasn't had any problems with anyone yet. he does really have one favorite though, that lucky beauty is venus, but he wants to make sure she will stay sweet no matter what before he tells her.

here lies the description of zach alex parker. just kidding nobody's dead, but that was a pretty good introduction for the jokester of the group. he is from Kettering, England, and loves to be the class clown. he pulls jokes on everyone. while one guy is staring at the new girl's butt, zach four will be looking at her surroundings, finding the perfect area to implement his pranks. everyone knows that he is the joker, but he can never get in trouble, because nobody in the school has actually ever caught him setting up a prank. he is also a soccer jock, and proud of it. he loves soccer and that is the only place he will not play pranks. zach is actually the only reason that there is a brand new soccer field in the town they are staying in. surprisingly enough, this joking soccer star is also actually quite the brain. his parents started him young, the wanted to make sure he could learn as fast as possible, and as much as possible. nobody knows, besides the guys, that he is so brainy, because he thinks that despite reassurances it's not, it is a turn-off. this kind of thinking often leads prince four to act much less smart than he actually is. only viria has seen through his cover up and become a friend to him. bridget intrigues zach, and he always find himself thinking about her, no matter what he is doing.

this is bentley layton. this attractive young man is from the town of Bourne, England. he enjoys being called prince bentley of Bourne, and gets offended if you simply try to use his first name. he doesn't necessarily like rules, and definitely doesn't like that he is being forced to choose a girl. bentley is also not the nicest boy on the block, and has quite the temper, causing him to lash out at times, and scare away some of the girls. besides the temper, he can choose to be nice, but this doesn't happen often. often called the rebel of the group, he can't turn down a dare, even if it meant that he would do something so stupid that he could die from it. bentley is also rather cocky and hot-headed, always thinking he's right. because he doesn't want to fall in love, he is a player, and proud of it. let's just say if he were to ever be turned down, he probably wouldn't take it happily. he prefers only guy friends, not wanting to get too close to any one girl, so he pushes all the girls away that could ever mean something to him with snide comments and sarcastic remarks. most who can stand him, see his comical and nicer side more often. bentley is also quite the competitor, he loves almost every kind of sport, and plays most of them often. bentley's biggest secret by far, so big he may not even know it himself, is that the reason he pushes people away, is because he is scared of falling in love. he is friends with all of the princes, and has known them since childhood, although felix is his best friend. after the party, he dislikes diana and despite his best intentions, is drawn towards henley.

meet diana calum lovelace, or diana for short, the Puerto Rican beauty. diana is a very secluded kind of girl. she doesn't really like risks, and normally sticks to what she knows; cheerleading and school work. she is a very good girl, and will hardly do anything to break the rules. she is definitely more of a follower than a leader, but she does enjoy some things. like a while ago, her parents put her in ballet lessons, which she adored after only the first lesson. now she goes about three times a week to practice and get extra good. always having to work for what she wants, it was 100% diana's idea to come on this trip. so, she doesn't necessarily mind change, as long as it's for the better. getting away from her family and trying to make a new life is definitely better. back at diana's home, she was living in a rather poor area, with four brothers and three sisters, and her mother and father both expected her to either stay home and help with the kids, or go out and work for the family. she didn't want to do either, so she took things into her own hands, deciding to come here. she swore to herself that even if she wasn't chosen by a prince, she would either find somewhere to live here in england, or go to america, the land of opportunity. ioanna somehow ended up having bridget as her closest friend, not that she minds at all, but she is friends with the rest of the girls as well. after one snide remark at the ball, she and bentley found that they had a mutual disliking of each other, and she didn't really get to talk to many of the other boys as she was stuck, lost in james's eyes.

give a warm welcome to viria alexandra lights. this happy-go-lucky sweetie is from Germany, though she somehow has very little trace of the accent. viria is extremely shy and somewhat skittish around guys just from lack of experience. her father died when she was just two years old, so it had just been her and her mother. she even went to an all girls school, so she almost never interacted with guys. now that she suddenly has a million chances to talk to them, she avoids them all, afraid she'll make a fool of herself. viria has no problem around girls though, so most of them don't understand how she hasn't ever been kissed or had a boyfriend or anything because they claim she is exactly what guys look for; hot and sweet. her main sports for exercise are swimming, and though she is not fantastic at it she is rather good, and gymnastics where she is fantastic. girl two is like some kind of monkey-gymnast, the one that everyone watches out for at competitions, and even practice. she has the perfect build for it too; petite, with good arm and core strength. viria likes to joke around and have a good time, so everyone loves to be around her. very obviously, viria is friends with all of the girls there, and loves to chat and have fun with them. despite her fear of interaction with boys, she was somehow drawn to zach, her only guy friend. though she barely knows the boy, she trusts him and would tell him anything, even who she has her eye on, felix.

meet venus livianna woodard. this Canadian sweety is loved by all, and for good reason. no matter how hard you try to dislike this girl, she is just so sweet and innocent, that you simply can't. she loves everything and anything that breathes, and she is one of those giggly cuties that all the guys love too. at times, she can be completely and utterly random, but that's just another thing that makes people love her. beware though, if she gets ahold of more than one glass of alcohol, she gets very hyper and looks more like she's high, than drunk. other than that, this blonde haired beauty has next to no flaws. her bubbly personality is almost as infectious as her melodic laugh, but nothing compares to her smiles. when she smiles, she smiles not only with her mouth, but with her entire face as well. big on dancing, venus enjoys competitive hip-hop as both her creative outlet, and her work-out. sometimes, she can be slightly sensitive, and doesn't always take well to rudeness, often taking everything people say to heart. of course, she won't say anything back, but everyone comes around eventually to see that what they did was wrong, and apologize to her. this is part of the reason that venus and viria make such good friends, as girl two will always stand up for venus. she is also close friends with felix who protects her as well, but more like a brother instead of a lover. venus is good friends with almost everyone, but she seems to fancy charles, though she could never tell him.

this little Irish girl is named bridget saoirse o'brien. she is the one that is already most like a princess. growing up as daddy's little girl, there was hardly anything that she wanted but didn't get. bridget holds a very high value on herself, and expects people to treat her with respect, and if she needs it, take care of her every need. this is one of the many reasons that this redhead has enemies. despite her attitude, she tries to be sweet, but she was really just never taught how. she loves to party, but has a little habit to have a tiny bit too much to drink, which only makes her all the more fun for the boys, because once she's tipsy, she is the sweetest, cutest thing ever. bridget is not exactly a big sports fan, though she was very into competitive cheer back home. she claims it was because it was fun, but it's likely it was because there were boys in tight pants involved. also fitting the typical cheerleader description, she is rather flirty and knows how to use what she has to get what she wants. bridget is not stupid by any stretch, but at times she can get rather scatter-brained. she also has her moments of brilliance as well though. being the flirt that she is, bridget has her one girl companion, and her many guy friends. she claims she likes the guys because they are less drama, but truth be told, drama seems to follow her wherever she goes. bridget's best and really only girl friend is ioanna and she is friends with all the guys, though most seem to only tolerate her. there is one person that really annoys her with her sarcasm and snarky comments, and that is henley. for some reason though, around one person, she is always sweet, never rude, and she never realizes it. this particular person is zach.

this gorgeous girl is called henley alexia scotts. she is most likely one of the most unique all-american girls you will ever meet. like most american girls, she is sarcastic and witty. coming from California, she is also tall, tan, and skinny, practically bikini ready at any time. she is rather tomboyish, and loves sports with all of her heart; she doesn't mind rolling in the mud a bit, or a lot, to play them either. henley knows that she isn't some worthless piece of dirt, and expects people to treat her as a person. when provoked, this girl can get very mean, but she can never be truly mean as she feels guilt, and hates making enemies. this girl refuses to be pushed around by anyone, especially boys, and does not take orders, though she does follow some rules. henley is very sweet to those she likes, but seems bold to those who don't know her as she is very friendly and will talk to almost anyone. her one dark side is that she enjoys to be a challenge to the boys, acting as if she had never met some of them before, and acting coldly to them, though she does always drop subtle signs that she is joking. she probably has the biggest secret of the group; she really doesn't want to be here at all, but it was come here, or stay at home and be abused by her father. all in all, henley is a real riot and a great friend, but won't tolerate anyone being a jerk, or at least being a jerk and never apologizing. she hates to admit it, but bridget's self absorbed attitude bugs her, so she tends to steer clear of her, but she enjoys the company of everyone else, princes included. her closest friends are james and felix. as time progresses, she comes to see that though she resented him at first, she quite enjoys the company of bentley in a way that she enjoys none of her other friend's company.
