Dominique nodded slowly, before giving a kitty sigh. "Well...I'm sorry, young one. And yes, I am indeed a house cat. I live here in my kingdom and watch over all my subjects." He purred, and glanced around the whole yard.

☛he wriggled violently in the net, but only got himself more tangled up. the truck was going a little too fast, and he was being thrown about painfully. he mewed loudly and shrilly, and tried to clamber through the bars into the driver's seat but they were too close together for him to get through. he waited for the next red light for the truck to stop, then clawed at the bolt of the double doors and managed to turn it a little. mewing once more, he threw himself onto the doors, and fell out as they opened. there he was, in the middle of a busy road, the open truck speeding away unaware that they had lost their prey.
❝i would suggest us to move back again, sire, although...❞
he said to seth, then gulped, a little frightened. his paw bled slightly onto the ground from when he had fallen from the truck.
❝...i don't think i know the way back anymore.❞ he admitted, staring at the long road behind them. no landmarks he could travel by. signs wouldn't help them, anyway they couldn't read.
humans wouldn't help them either. they would just pick them up and take them home, then they would never get back to their home. a tear escaped adder's eyes, and he wiped it off by rubbing his paw on it. he was trembling a little.

He nudges Adder's flank, "well, for starters, lets get out of the road." He mews, leading the other tom to the side walk. "As for directions, we're in a bad part of town, amigo. I know the way, but it's dangerous, and your wounded." He mews, gesturing to his paw.

☛he sneezed softly, stepping onto the sidewalk with seth, then bowed his head rather stiffly, as the pain in his paw hadn't yet ceased.

adder mewed in alarm when he saw a bad-looking boy throwing a stone at them. he dodged it and pushed seth sideways with his paw just before it wheezed past them. he walked over to the stone and surveyed it. it was rather a hard rock, not small, and with a jagged edge, which was rather sharp. those humans... he thought, shaking his head to himself before gesturing with his tail for his friend to follow him, pressing his body down against the ground and running across the road. when he was just nearly across, a big bus rumbled by and nearly ran him over but he dodged a wheel just in time and ran over the rest that was left across the road. he sighed in relief, sitting down and looking over at seth.
❝com'on.❞ he said, tilting his head and tucking his tail around his paws.
