ˢᵗᵒʳᵐᶜˡᵒᵘᵈ Stormcloud walked along the border on a patrol. He scented something strange in the wind. Running down the moor, he saw a ginger tabby she-cat collapse on the ground. Yowling with alarm, he pelted over to her. He sniffed her pelt; she was still alive. He grabbed her scruff, calling for the rest of the patrol to help him. She needed help, and once she was better he would ask what brought her to DuskClan.

Larkstar curled up on the Tall Rock to sun herself. The winter sun was far away, and it took a while for her pelt to warm up. Her eyes blinked closed slowly, and it took longer and longer for them to reopen each time. She purred quietly, feeling relaxed. The Clan was happy and somewhat well-fed. She stretched at last, deciding to do some hunting. She padded out of camp, listening to the crackle of the frosted leaves under her paws.

ᶤᵛʸᵖᵃʷIvypaw watched Featherpaw walk over to Ebonypaw. The other apprentice sure was being friendly. Did Featherpaw have something for Ebonypaw? She'd better not, thought Ivypaw possessively. She sighed, realizing how immature she was being. Ebonypaw could do what he liked, she didn't own him. Still she winced a little as she watched the other cats get on without her.

Ebonypaw looked up to see Featherpaw. Her bright face made it possible for him to keep his happy but fake face on. "Hey Featherpaw what are you up to?" he said tilting his head his furry black pelt shinning in the now setting sun. He sighed shivering a little about what happened today. But told himself to ignore it. "Did anything good happen to you today?" he asked knowing his answer would be no.

Morningsound rolled over on her stomach and let out a small groan. Before she opened her eyes, she caught many different scents hovering close to her. She opened her pale blue eyes to see just what she had smelled before. About three cats were looming over her, and she could see in their eyes they were ready to pounce if she made one wrong move. "I have come with serenity, but I may need some help from your hunting group." She managed to say. She had no idea that this was DuskClan. The cats hesitated before they spoke and then made way for another male cat walking towards her. He smelled so familiar, but it was almost like a strong, cool scent masked the familiar scent. The cats there dipped their heads in respect to the tom. (Whitestar) Morningsound stayed where she was and prepared herself for what he was about to say.

"I'm just wandering about until I can figure out something more productive to do." Featherpaw responded, noticing the tom shiver. It wasn't that cold , was it? She decided to just ignore it. "Nothing has really happened to me today. It's been quite dull, actually. " She tried to think of something else to throw into their conversation. "How are you holding up?" she asked, her eyes round as worry crept into her.

ˢᵗᵒʳᵐᶜˡᵒᵘᵈ Stormcloud stood in the medicine den, watching the trespasser awake. She had an interesting vocabulary, definitely not a Clan cat. Stormcloud looked over as his leader entered. Stormcloud dipped his head respectfully. He'd already informed Whitestar of what had happened on the border, but Morningsound hadn't awoken until now. Looking down at her, Stormcloud noticed she was quite pretty.

Larkstar padded quietly through the forest, sliding stealthily along. She paused behind a dry fern bush and waited. A bright cardinal pecked for nesting among the grass, alert but unaware of her presence. Larkstar crept behind it, snatching it by the wing with her claws and killing it quickly. Thankfully, it hadn't made any noise.

ᶤᵛʸᵖᵃʷIvypaw groomed herself quickly before brushing past the others and going out to hunt. DawnClan would need prey. She crouched in the leaves, picking up a scent that wasn't prey. Larkstar? The leader must have been hunting also. Ivypaw steered clear, not wanting to ruin Larkstar's hunt.

Cagelight stood in front of the nursery entrance in a bit of protective manner. Stromcloud was teaching his kit, Rainkit, some battle moves when a strange cat had came into camp and caused commotion. He was very worried, even thought it didn't show, that this cat was one of the other clan. To be honest he didn't like having that cat here in camp and hopped they would find what was up with her soon.

Cursepaw watched the leader, Whitestar, enter the medicine cats den where the stranger was being kept. He didn't get to close to the den, he didn't want to crowd in or get snapped at for it. He kept an eye on it, waiting to see if the Deputy or Leader would call a meeting about this stranger.

Mistbreeze sat outside the medicine cats waiting for her brother to be done with the stranger. She was worried that, that cat would be from another clan or a rouge. She was more curious about how this cat got into to camp, let alone there territory, and didn't get notice ti'll they where in the heart of camp.

Ebonypaw shrugged. "I am bored too." he admitted. Sighing quickly he looked up at her. "Hey Featherpaw I could use a friend right now so I was wondering if you would like to go hunting with me?" he said his tail flicking with anticipation. He was so bored and anythignt to get his mind off his mother would help him greatly.

Whitestar heard notice and became walking out. Hearing new of another cat he walked up his eyes narrowed and still tiered from sleep. Well, not exactly sleep. He's been sitting on his rock watching the clan do the normal there was nothing for him to do. He looked up at the she cat and his ears perk up. Her... she was familiar but distant. He hasn't seen her face in years. But who was she? What did she know of him? Did she remember him too? He swallowed hard and for a while didn't say anything. Whitestar was a new leader and tried his best but now his worried self that he tried not to show to the clan came pouring out. Everything hinted of his past. Now she was here she must know something! What if she did? "Who are you?" he hissed usually one to be nice and clam but now he was a little more off edge. It hit him... Nut, the rouges, hunger .... her.....

ˢᵗᵒʳᵐᶜˡᵒᵘᵈ Stormcloud frowned when Whitestar hissed. Sure this new she-cat was foreign, but she was sick. So far she'd been very nice, Whitestar shouldn't....wait. Stormcloud's eyes narrowed slightly. Why did Whitestar look so worried, like he'd done something wrong? Sure he was a new leader, but not that new. He'd dealt with loners before. Stormcloud tried hard not to interrupt, but he still felt defensive of Morningsound.

Larkstar finished hunting after catching a couple more pieces of prey. She padded slowly back to camp, her tail swishing back and forth and her ears folded back. She was thinking about the murder, wondering who could have killed Warmheart. She couldn't help listing all of the bad cats, of which there weren't many. Still, were any of her Clan really evil?

ᶤᵛʸᵖᵃʷIvypaw dug her claws furiously into the ground after a rabbit escaped them. She hissed quietly, trying to find any other prey. She'd caught a mouse, but it was small. At least it would feed Wolfkit, the only kit in the nursery. Ivypaw sank to the ground, her shoulders slumped. Misery made her sigh. Ebonypaw seemed okay, but he hadn't spoken to her since before the vigil started the morning before. Warmheart was gone, she was like Ivypaw's kin. She'd helped take care of Ivy"kit" when her real mother hadn't. Now Ebonypaw had changed inside.

Featherpaw nodded enthusiastically , a warm look spreading across her face. "I can be that friend ! " she blurted out. She was defiantly happy to get out of the camp for once, and she was hoping she could try to help Ebonypaw feel a bit better. "are we going now?" she questioned, eager to test her hunting skills again in the forest.
