Striker blinked sleepily, yawning and stretching as he emerged from his makeshift den. "Well" he muttered to himself, "Another day in paradise." A balmy breeze rustled the dead leaves below his feet, and a lone songbird sang eerily in the distance. He trotted off to find prey, soon catching the scent of a hare nearby. It was getting harder to find prey in the Forbidden Forest. Even catching the days-old scent of hare was a rare occurrence. The idea of hunting in pack territory seemed more and more tempting each day.
