Favorite Season: Very early spring. It's the time of year when he blends in with the snow, with the grass and fresh, soft dirt just barely showing.
Story:
Spot peered around a birch tree. This was the moment he had been waiting for, and he promised himself he wouldn't blow it.
He hid behind the dense weave of trees, concealed by his colouring, waiting. Watching.
His eyes trained on the dark earth in front of him, Spot barely dared to breathe. He watched the hole in the ground with such an intense look in his eyes, he seemed to be trying to make it move.
And move it did! With barely a sound, the snow around the hole shuddered and fell, but whatever was inside seemed hardly perturbed. A tiny, brown thing poked its black nose out of the burrow.
A groundhog!
Spot watched as the little creature sniffed, its nose quivering, and emerged fully from the burrow. It stood up on its hind legs, alert and ready to hide again. Spot held his breath.
The groundhog stayed upright for several moments before a snapping twig scared it back into its burrow. But Spot wasn't annoyed; he had seen what he had come for.
The groundhog hadn't seen its shadow, and an early spring seemed promising.

Spring - He loves the life that comes out in spring.
Story:
Being Beil is like no other. Everyone admires this beautiful stallion, and not just because of his magnificent beauty, but also because of his kindness, especially children. Never does he get mad, always kind and loving. You might ask how he even keeps his herd in order if he is always so gentle, all I can say is, you can be gentle, but with a firm hold on what you want. If any stallion ever came to steal the herd, Beil would fight to his death, but his choice is to keep the area peacefull and blood free.

"Beil?" a young colt, Vanish, walked up behind Beil, who was tasting some weeds. When Beil heard the colts voice he raised his head and answered, "Yes Vanish?" "May I ask you something?" "Of course Varnish, and here, taste some of these weeds while you are at it." Vanish bent down and tasted some of the juicy weeds. They where so good! "When will I have to leave the herd?" "Why do you think of that so early in your life? You should be out in the fields frolicking with the other foals." "Time goes by quickly Father." " "Well, I guess I could tip you some. When you go out into the world, do not stomp like you do when your mother askes you in from the field. Instead, use your pegasus hooves." Varnish smiled at the response. Beil continued in a whisper, "Also, when you meet a pretty mare, don't ask her to be in your herd, but rather be kind to her. One thing that I have learned over the years is that the mares love stallions who respect them, and that is rare in stallions these days." Varnish stood up straighter when he heard Beil talk about such things, especially mares. It made him feel older. "Last, remember to love nature. The creator made it for you and me, and we must respect everything in and around it. It is beautiful." Beil said. Varnish looked around and said, "Indeed you are right father. This is a beautiful world, and such a beautiful day. But father, may I put in something?" "Yes you may Varnish~" "Tis' cold!" Haha! Yes son, tis' cold, just as you say. They stood their looking around. Yes, tis' cold, but the warmth in our hearts this holiday season will melt the ice of the weather. Merry Christmas~
