Eleos
Eleos studied her still, intrigued more than ever by this seemingly tortured demon. She was like an unsolved puzzle, the way she raised so many questions in his mind.
"Then what were you feeling when you left your house?" he asked her. "The one with the protection spell?" As soon as the words escaped his lips he winced. There was no way she wouldn't react badly to that, he'd just reminded her of the torture she'd experienced as a child. He hadn't meant to, honestly, his curiosity had just gotten the best of him before he could think about what he was saying.
Deciding that it was too late to turn back, he simple waited for a response, gaze apologetic.
