A battle-scarred Flaaffy was watching the rouges from a distance, good eye narrowed slightly. He did not recognise them from the base...But at the same time, it wasn't like he recognised a lot of humans from the base. Pokemon, sure, he knew a fair few of them.
But his trainer wasn't exactly a social creature, so he did'nt see many other humans.
"Who...Are they.."

"Flaaffy," the Trainer murmured, indicating it's direction with a jerk of his head. They'd been doing this for a while, pointing out which people and Pokémon were watching them. There were... a lot. And all of them possible threats.
Lovely
They'd needed to get out of the infirmary, but couldn't they have been sent to a less busy part of the base? No, he supposed not. Magma would want to keep an eye on them. In a public place, that wasn't hard. He sighed. Still trapped.

Oh... That wasn't what they'd expected. Both Rogues tensed up a little, shifting their positions as the Pokémon made it's way over. What to do now?
There was nothing that they could do, really. So they waited to see what the Pokémon wanted. Maybe it was going to kick them out- that'd be fine, they'd just head back to the infirmary. Otherwise... who knew.

Crap. To lie or not to lie? The Rogues glanced at each other quickly before turning back to the Flaaffy. "Yeah, we're new here," the Trainer hedged. Not a lie exactly, and not a reminder that they were Rogues and shouldn't be there at all either.

"That might be it," the electrician murmured non-committedly. "That looks like a nasty scar there. I take it your Trainer is a grunt, huh?"
May as well try and make connections while they were here. Might help later on. Maybe.

The Trainer flinched, though he knew the Pokémon was right. His Team did not treat the opposition well. But then, he'd seen Aqua grunts brought back into the infirmary- Magma gave as good as they got! On the outside, he'd learnt that Aqua was perceived as the brutal side, but Magma was too!
"The fighting isn't kind, no matter what side you're on," he murmured.
