A Jewel-Tailed Fox ( also known as Jewel-Tails or JTFs ), is a creature much like a fox, with a long, fluffy tail. However, unlike a fox, their coat comes in many different colors, not just reds and grays and whites. Perhaps their most outstanding feature, though, is that fact that jewels grow naturally from the base of their tails. These jewels can come in all sorts of colors, however, usually a single Jewel-Tail will have jewels on its tail that are the same color or on the same color spectrum. For example, usually they won't have red and green and white jewels on its tail, but maybe all mint green jewels, or some darker green ones and some lighter ones. They also like to create jewelry and accessories out of gems and hang them on their bodies, like from their tails or on necklaces around their neck. Jewel-Tails can live anywhere, really, but they like to live in caverns where precious gems and stones can be mined. They also tend to live in small groups, unlike normal foxes, and they age like humans.

Occasionally, they will be found with mutations, though rare. Some mutations include, but are not limited to, a large gem set in the middle of their chest (same color as the gems on their tails), wings (bird, bat, or celestial, though the last one renders them flightless), horns, and bangs (one of the more common ones).

- Please don't ask to be a member of staff, i.e moderator, artist, guest artist, etc. If I need staff I will say so.
- Don't steal anyone else's Jewel-Tail.
- Don't beg or whine or carry on or whatever for a Jewel-Tail, whether it is owned or unowned.
- Don't hassel someone to try and get them to trade you their Jewel-Tail.
- A JTF cannot be your fursona.
- You may not sell your JTF for pets/characters/art or any other type of currency, real or artificial.
- Do not ask for a custom. They are reserved for staff and special occasions.
- There is currently no limit on how many JTFs you may own. This, however, is likely to change.
- If you no longer wish to own your Jewel-Tail, PM me or another member of staff and it will be put up for adoption.
- You may gift your Jewel-Tail to someone, but please get my permission first.
