Hearth's Warming Eve Party

"Nah," she grinned. "But I'm working on it!" Ornate examined his stripes, enjoying following the patterns before mentally slapping herself for staring. "I like your stripes," she said, crossing her back legs over each other and taking a sip of her drink.

Fury smiled. "We thank thee for the kind words. Tell Us, what is this instrument thou plays?" He asked, looking at the guitar curiously.

Fury watched with fascinated curiosity. "We have been... Away, for a very long time." He replied. He wanted to reach out and try playing the guitar as well, but he had a feeling if he did it would end up bursting into flames.

Fury looked away. "We are unsure if it would burst into flames or not, would thou be ok if it did?" He asked, blushing a bit.

Ornate giggled slightly, covering her mouth her hoof. She sounded so goofy when she laughed. At least she thought, anyway. "Thank you," she nodded with a bright smile at his "compliment". Ornate sat her drink down again and enjoyed feeling the warmth of the fireplace warming her. "Ah, see this is where we're different as thieves. When I was a thief, I snatched anything that looked shiny or valuable. It seems like so long ago, I can't even remember." Locket was actually quite surprised that she remembered alot of things that happened in her life, seeing she was about a century old. The perks of being a crystal pony, she supposed.

Fury placed his hoof on the guitar, and to his immense relief it did not instantly set on fire. "Normally Our fire does not set things alight, but there are times where they burn things." He explained. He drew his hoof across the strings like he'd seen Thunder do, eyes full of almost cat-like curiosity.

She shrugged, as if she didn't really care too much. "I guess I was pretty sad with it. I didn't really spend alot of my life in my Empire and was rescued from it at early stages of enslavement. So overall, I'm really not very effected by it, honestly." Another sip of her drink and a silent pause before she went ahead and continued to ramble a bit. "I think I've had more fun on any pirate ship and thief mission then I would have ever had in the Crystal Empire. So I'm rather glad I didn't stay there."

Fury looked up at him. "We have not taken any offense." He reassured him, smiling. He'd never seen a guitar before, much less play one. It was only natural that he wouldn't know how to play it.

She blinked a few times. "It felt wrong," Ornate got out. "I began to feel sick when ever I did it because it reminded me of all the dumb thieves that roamed around when I was younger." There was a bigger reason why she stopped, but she was in no mood to go into detail. Her scarf wrapped over her mouth and the ends spilled over her hooves. She gently pushed away the ends of her scarf, watching the fire spark and glow.
