MAX

I came out of Angel's room after tucking her in, then made my way down the hallway to the main room, where I heard the voices of the flock, and where I knew they would be. I leaned against the doorway into the hall, my eyes flickering over each avian, finally resting on Fang. I then moved my eyes back across the group, my expression slightly grim. "Kirose, can you come down from the roof and come in here, please?" I asked, only raising my voice a little. I knew she would hear. And since the iguana had wanted to be with her in the first place, she was one of the most necessary people for the discussion about to take place. I crossed my arms over my chest and waited patiently, not willing to continue with what I had to say until she came in.

Kirose rolled her eyes, "Sure, not like I have anything better to do." She slid down from the roof, landing on the ground with a slight thump. She leaned against the doorway, and glanced over at Max, before walking the rest of the way into the house. With a sigh, Kirose put the juice down on the countertop, and arched one eyebrow. "Watcha need, oh glorious Flock leader?" She said with a sarcastic smile.

(Sorry. School's starting and I haven't been able to post at all on RPs coz' it's been pretty hectic. I'm getting behind in too many RPs! D:
I'll try to post a decent post soon enough, and fight off my writers block. Can't right now though. Hopefully I will tomorrow. Thank you if you understand. I'll try to post tomorrow. But right now, I'm being a terrible person. D: )

Fang raised his eyebrows ever so slightly and ran a hand through his dark hair, ducking his head in the process to hide his slight grin at Kirose's name for Max. It fell messily over his forehead again, nearly covering his eyebrows entirely as he looked at Max, waiting for her to speak.

MAX

I arched an eyebrow at Kirose's little nickname, then sighed and pushed away from the doorway, my arms still crossed, my feet spread apart. I looked steadily at each of the new flock members, then finally at Kirose. "We're leaving for California tomorrow," I said quietly, my eyes flickering to Fang. "I don't like this situation with the iguana. He came from the School, knew exactly where to find us, how to find us, and also mentioned the whitecoats, and them not liking something Kirose had done." I sighed, running a hand through my hair. "It's obvious that they know generally where we are; we have to leave if we're going to keep everyone safe."

Kirose pursed her lips, "Well aren't I a tad bit troublesome." She muttered, half to herself then looked up at the ceiling. SHe had to admit, she wasn't in the best of moods at the moment, and the fact that they were leaving for California didn't make her attitude any better. "To the land of beaches and babes, what a joy." She muttered, and cast a glance at Lee and Fang. Kirose put her hands in her pockets and sat down in a chair by the counter.

Fang nodded and walked over to the couch. Since they weren't leaving until tomorrow, he supposed that left them a little time to relax before they had to pack everything up. "Can't wait," he said calmly as he leaned his head back on the couch and closed his eyes, stretching out his long legs. He wasn't all that tired, it just felt good to close his eyes and be careless for a moment. Of course the hundreds of things they would have to do and a certain girl wouldn't allow him to be careless, but at least he could do the closing his eyes part.

MAX

I couldn't help but chuckle at Fang's reaction, which was---surprise---to go lay down on the cough. Right. I grinned, then looked at Kirose, instantly shaking my head at her words. "You aren't troublesome, Kirose," I muttered, arching my eyebrows at her. "I don't know why the iguana wanted you. I don't think you're a spy or anything, you're part of the flock, and therefore you're no trouble. You're a great help to us, actually." I shrugged at that, and then smirked at her following words. "I'm sure the guys will enjoy it," I murmured, my eyes sliding sideways to Fang, where I pursed my lips and arched an eyebrow. "But anyways, it'll be a long time before we actually reach California itself...so it's many places in between until then."

Kirose rolled her eyes and shrugged. "THose are just places to lull us into a false sence of security, then we get hit in the face with a beach ball." SHe muttered, and blew a strand of hair away from her face. Kirose hopped up from the table and walked toward the door. "I'll be on the roof, if there's nothing else." She cast a glance back at Max to see if she was going to say something more.

Lee quietly watched and listened as the Flock talked, and leaned back from his perch on the table. "California, huh?" Lee had always wanted to go to California. Full of clear waters, warm beaches, and lots of girls. Lee smirked at his last thought. "That's cool." He dissappeared and reappeared next to the fridge, where he promptly opened it and picked out a Snapple. He Jumped - well, flicked, - back to on the table. His power was fun. The Refridgerator door closed behind him.
