Well no body does just canon characters I have oc and canon most people do both. I find that canon only rps are quite boring it;s alot more fun when ocs are involved and I have strict rules sometimes. I don't appreciate overly obsessed fangirls or boys who become gary/mary sues with certain characters. I try to keep the people who are going to interrupt personal/private moments between characters out of my rps cause those are the worst kind of roleplayers no offense to anyone here who rps like that.

Here we go the whole literacy issue if theres one thing I despise it's the terminology of rping: I think the terms should be Beginner literacy advanced literacy and expert literacy I also think that non literate rps should be called beginner literacy rps. because lets face it when you say illiterate or non literate it just seems kind of like insult to most. but anyway there are a few semi literate rps out there. not too many lotr ones not since the sight rp rules changed.
Whoever thought up the terminology didn't really consider how it feels to have illiterate used as an insult and probably should have at least considered the definition.

Ah I see. Well you're definitely not illiterate. I've never heard someone use that word as an insult before. Being illiterate means you don't know what a sentence is, can't describe, have terrible spelling, and don't know what grammar even is. So not many people are illiterate. I like advanced rps but I like to just take it easy and rp only like a few sentences. I don't really mind but for a LotR rp I'd like to use more literacy than normal. To be honest being literate isn't about how much you post it's about how well you can do it so more quality over quantity. ^^
