I apologize that you too have to live with "thumpers". Yes I respect that others have their own religion and beliefs, but shouldn't we get the same respect? I did a report on religion and it's misunderstandings last year to a Christian teacher, needless to say I think she just gave me a 105 A just because she was forced. I asked her if she enjoyed it because my main purpose was to debunk the theories and stereotypes, story short she basically avoided me the entire year...

On a plus side, I found that I am maybe not the only pagan in this town! I have a pagan friend and it's just nice to be able to share your thoughts and feelings to someone who gets an understanding from what you mean. She brought me a bag the other day and turns out it was a old medicine pouch, and inside we discovered a Herkimer Diamond!- a double terminated variation of Quartz. It was so exciting getting to know the stone and it's properties.

Speaking of my own stones I was glad to have uncovered them from the piles of boxes (we just moved into a new home) I found out that my Quartz cluster's name was Melody, she has really high vibrations and seemed to have warmed up to me after months of not interacting with my precious "babies." I am still sadden that I misplaced my Citrine..but I swore I brought it home after my EOC testing, I swear I did!

Now I'm just droning on an on..sorry it's is sooo long, It's just great to be back on this forum again. Things are much better! now onto my main question: Astral Projection. I tried to Astral Project a few nights ago and it was just a weird yet wonderful expierence (Althought I'm sure I did it wrong...) I knew my body was asleep..yet it wasn't.. Like, I know when I'm really asleep, et I wasn't in this. I guess if I did this correctly I was on a wild horse pasture, there was a particular horse I was riding. Not sure what kind but a Black Overo coat, I know that...I could feel like every step it took, the wind, the rush..it was insane! Yet I remember telling myself "I'm probably not doing this right..I'm going to go to sleep now" and my body instantly fell into a real stage of sleep.

ANYWAYYYYYYY LONGGG UPDATE OVERRR.... I'd appreciate help in trying ot strenghten the Astral Projection issue..Thanks!!!

Anyway, it sounds like you have had some adventures lol. I found a few articles on spellsofmagic.com that might help you: Exercises, Info. There are also many different things you can use to help you when Projecting.

Mine is currently on top of my tallest dresser, just above chest height and below chin height,..
I started to put out wintery things for the change of seasons and yule but it is rather bare right now.
I hope to change that more over the next few days but it might not happen until after the 'standerd' holidays are over.

So tonight I had a choir concert at my school. My boyfriend came and sat near my mom in the back. When I changed back into my normal clothing he gave me a bouquet of flowers that have now found a home along the south edge of my alter, a frame against the wall so nothing falls, I guess. They add a nice floral scent that I can't usually get because of my apartment's no candles/incense/fire in general rules. It smells really nice and I'm just really happy that the goddess led me to him.

My altar is a shoebox one. I only set it up when i need it. I also don't have a lighter or matches so I can't light candles. I'm a green pagan but i follow many of the wiccan practices.

Additional Comments: Hmm, not many. I have been a Christian Wiccan for the past year, perhaps two years. I work with tarot and oracle cards, and would love to do readings if anyone would like them. I am a biologically female, genderfluid lesbian who is Otherkin and happens to be a part of a system of multiplicity. Other than that I think I'm pretty neat, and I would love to give and receive help as well as take part in the community of this thread.

To stay on the topic at hand..
Because I am in college, I can't really have my alter out and about because of lack of space. So, I have it set up in my closet. It's base is made of an upside-down storage tub which is covered by my alter cloth. Then I have everything set up on it: my God and Goddess candles, a picture of my grandma on Her side, a picture of Jesus on His side, and a cross in the middle. I also have incense, four white quarter candles, a pentacle, an offering bowl, and a black dish I use as a coldren when I'm burning things.
