Roshna had stumbled upon Azhen a while ago, on the return trip from the mainland. He'd been exploring and observing - but he only had so much time. The barrier closed in a few days...

Suddenly, the vortex swirled in a blur of gorgeous blues, and the sounds of the sea made Roshna desperately homesick but unbearably curious as the simple Azhenai stepped out of the vortex quietly.

He listened to Aeituo talk, thinking that perhaps this Azhenai would be one he'd like to keep as a friend. Our spirits have much to learn from one another...

Roshna approached the Azhenai nervously, worried that he might say something silly or not impress the wise one.

"Hello," he began quietly, "I'm Roshna."

"I'm from Ramgaetura, an island that has been hidden from the world for years. I live by the Red Sea - which is literally red, unlike the Red Sea out here - it's warm there, and very pretty. There are four seas where I live, each of them governed by the god that reigns in that sea - like our god, Valore. Normally we don't travel out of the limits of our seas, but the barrier that protected us was broken. I traveled out here to bring back the body of a friend...but that's a long story. Maybe if you and I become friends, I can tell you all of it." the fourteen year old finished, his eyes very much like water - reflective and too deep to see the bottom.
"Well," he said finally, after a lengthy silence, "it was nice to meet you, Aeituo. Hopefully I can get to know you better soon."

Then the shy boy receded like the waves, swept up among the other suitors.
