We are the strays of the streets of San Francisco, we are known as the lost and lonely well that's what house pets, humans and street duelers say it although some of the strays do feel lost and lonely that's not entirely true the majority of us sort of enjoy our life in the streets as it gives us a sense of freedom and open space.

Seasons

In the Summer months of June, July and August there is normally hot temperatures and low precipitation (rainfall). Fog is one of the city's features during summer.

In Autumn months there are still warm temperatures however there is no fog and the amount of rainfall increases.

In San Francisco's Winter months of December, February and January there is mild temperatures and high rainfall, however snow rarely falls due to the climate type

In Spring months rainfall is high at first but dramatically decreases and temperatures begin to increase as it gets closer to summer.

Tells us a little about yourself?

"Well hello there to introduce my self I should begin with the basics, My name is Tyson but if you would prefer to shorten it and give me a nickname call me Ty. If your wondering what breed I am it is not a pedigree I am a German Shepherd and Rottweiler mix. I'm a male dog hence the boyish name if it wasn't obvious enough already. At the age of 3 year I may still be younger than most stray dogs I'm San Francisco but I have grown up since I begun my life in the streets, it no place for pups I can assure you on that one. My short fur coat, which is ideal for the hot weather, is mostly a golden brown tan colour but my ears, muzzle and back are a deep cocoa colour and my neck has light brown markings also I have a white patch on my neck and chest along with a brown patch on my head. My eyes are a nice dark brown and I have full vision in both of them and hope to maintain it into my old age . Now to end my Introduction of myself you should probably know I'm the top dog of the abandoned warehouse and that I am without a mate and pups and currently lokking for the right female."

What happened in the past?

"Such a personal thing to ask but I don't mind sharing my past. My mother (german shepherd) and father (rottweiler) where strays but they where both rescued and taken into an animal shelter when my mum had giving birth to me and my siblings and when we where ready for adoption we each got sent to separate homes to live with humans. I was adopted in winter by a middle aged married couple with a young child they had bought me to be the child's present for Christmas but the boy wasn't happy or interested in me when he opened up my box and the parents had no clue with what to do with me so they took me and my box outside in the streets and abandoned me their in the heavy rain alone at first I was lost and confused at why the family would do this to me but that's when I realise how much I hate humans and just how cruel they can be since then I have never trusted them and that is my past over and done with now I have my own place to call home."

Do you have a good personality?

"Well no one has a perfect personality but I am very outgoing and intelligent of course you need to be if your a street dog I have become very alert and I don't trust others so easily you need to take your time to get to know me better before I trust you but I am fun and good to be around I guess unless you threaten me or hurt me in any way then I can be vicious and bad tempered which you don't want trust my bite can be worse if I get into a fight but most of the time I am patient and friendly to others and I often like to be helpful to others when they are in tough or tricky situations. Well that's enough about me my last piece of advice if you want to know more just get to know."

Introducing Cleo

Hey I'm Cleo yeah it's a simple name a human gave me of course.
If you haven't' already guessed i'm a female you've
probably realized that from the name you don't get many
males with the name Cleo do you? well maybe i don't know.
You can probably tell from my coat and shape of my body
i'm a Australian Shepherd, yes i'm 100% Aussie. I don't
have a nickname by the way, your free to make one up
but of course it has to be a nice one, i don't mind being
called Aussie though you would probably call a lot of
Australian Shepherds that. I'm 2 years old, i know i'm
still young well i'm not young but you know i'm able to
carry pups have a mate and all that, i'm strong and
caring i would love to be a mother. My coat color is
red merle, i do love my coat it's still silky and soft
and thick just like a Aussie should have it's coat i'm
always looking after my coat as it's my favorite thing
on my body. I have blue eyes as you can see crystal
blue eyes, i can see clearly out of them i'm glad i have
my sight there are so many beautiful things in the world
i fell sorry for the dogs that are blind there missing out
on a lot. My nose is pinkish reddish color as you can see
i love to smell new things it can be interesting. I'm Top dog
of the Abandoned house so yeah i live there for now.

Her History

She doesn't really like to talk about her history but she was abandoned when she turned into a one year old, she never figured out why. Cleo was in a litter of 6 they were outside in a box with a free sale sign written on the box. Cleo is a pedigree dog, she is 100% Australian Shepherd so was her father and mother, none of the humans knew why they were free but soon people started to take away the pups. Cleo was the last one to be picked, she was picked by a young couple possibly in there 20s not married. The lady named the pup Cleo as the human thought it suited her well, she loved the pup, she was always grooming her and spoiling her with toys and treats. Cleo thought that she had waited for the right humans to pick her, she loved theses humans. The Aussie was growing up fast the man really didn't take much notice of her, but Cleo didn't really care she was always with the lady anyway, following her around the house all the time, the young female pup didn't want to leave her side.

Time past the young couple had a baby, Cleo was interested but was never aloud in the room when the baby was there, the women was acting different around her, she wasn't getting as much as attention as did. She did try to get the human's attention by barking loudly but all they said is shut up to her. Cleo was confused and upset feeling like she was being pushed out the family because of the new baby. One morning she went into the kitchen for breakfast at the usual time but their was none the bowl wasn't even there never was the water bowl, she went to go find her masters. The young Aussie found the man putting his coat on, with her leash in his hand, she barked happily, wagging her tail jumping up at him as a dog would do when they went out for walks. The man took her out to the car and drove her miles and miles away from the house. He un-clipped the leash and her collar setting her free, she went to go get back in the car because the man did but the door shut when she was about to jump in, she whimpered and scratched at the door but then watched as he drove off. This where her new life began.

Cleo's Personality

She is shy but once she gets to know you she will start to trust you and hopes that you will trust her too, she will be honest with you. She is caring and kind also protective, she will snap at other dogs if they bully her or others, she thinks there is no reason for it and wants everyone to get along. If other males flirt with her, if she likes you she might flirt back or she might be teasing you it depends what mood she is in. She can be playfully if she wants to be and she doesn't eat much. She does have a temper she doesn't like to be pushed around but her temper hardly is ever shown. Sometimes she does get the feeling to stand up for herself but she sometimes loses her courage to.

Love life

Oh i'm suppose to talk about my love life... okay it's not very interesting but if you have to know then i'll tell you. I'm single that's right i don't have a male sadly but i wish i did, i might find him one day hopefully. I don't have any pups either -sigh- that is my second dream my first is yes the perfect mate, but second pups of course, you need a mate first don't ya? i don't have a crush as no one has caught my eye yet, I've seen plenty of males but their just not the right guy. I love for a gentle guy, someone who will protect me and loves me not just because of my looks but because of my personality, a caring male someone who is honest with me. It's hard to find that type of guy, hopefully that guy will show up one day.

H i s t o r y :
Originally, he was born in Switzerland as a rescue dog. It wasn't long until he and his owner retired and moved to the states. His owner was getting older until he could barely tend to his needs. He remembered the day when his owner's daughter came over and took his owner to an old person's home. Thinking he had lost his owner, he escaped the house before his daughter returned to retrieve him. Ever since then, he has been on his own.

Other dogs see Ice Berg as fresh, lively, charming, amusing, practical, and always interesting. They also see her as kind, considerate, and understanding; someone who'll always cheer them up and help them out. She's loyal and faithful to the pack she is in and will protect her pack mates even if it means her own life. H i s t o r y :
Like some stray dogs, Ice Berg lived in a human home with a guy who was in the army. She would always happily greet him when he came home after the long months from being in another country. Her owner's brother would come over, feed her, walk her, and play with her while her owner was gone. One day, he didn't return but a few men came in his place bringing sad news. Her owner had died in battle, and she was there at the funeral. For a few months, she never left the graveyard not even for food. Finally, she left and never returned to the town.

Quincy is a nice, friendly, and sociable dog. He enjoys company and hates being by himself for a certain amount of time. When he is by himself, he is usually sleeping or staring off into the distance. Sometimes, he can act a bit like a pup and rarely takes thing serious. When the tension is thick, he tries to joke around to defuse the tension. All and all, he's a sweet brute.
H i s t o r y :
He grew up on the streets his whole life on his own. He doesn't know much about his family so he assumes that they are either in the pound, been sold to humans, or dead. He hated being on his own, but he was too cautious about joining a pack because of the responsibilities. Unable to stand being by himself, he asked to join a pack only to be rejected by the Alpha. Ever since then, he has been on his own, searching for a pack to join.
