Jennifer shook her head. "I wish you could." she said looking away.

Jennifer lifted his face up with both her hands wiping his tears as she looked into his eyes. "Listen to me. You did nothing wrong." she said.

Sam had been listening to the whole conversation, how was he going to tell Lilian. He hobbled downstairs and looked at her worriedly.

Lilian looked at him "what's wrong?"she asked gently

Troy kissed her plans "I couldn't protect you from the accident everything is my fault"he said tears streaming down

Sam hugged her. "Your mother.." was all her could say.

Jennifer wiped his tears away. "Its not your fault, I decided to do it and even if you were there I probably would have done it anyway" she whispered.

Sam sighed. "Shes going to a hospital, shes dying because of her smoking." he said standing on one foot.
