Jennifer smiled slightly. "Why wouldn't I?" she asked softly as she rolled onto her back.

"Cause I've been such a jerk and I'm sorry." I apologized.

Jennifer gave him a look. "No you haven't...what are you talking about?" she said suddenly becoming concerned.

I gave her a look. "Every time we broke up or aught was because I was being a jerk." I explained. I put my hand on her forehead. "Did you hit your head to when the shark came?" I asked worriedly.

Jennifer shook her head. "No, I don't think so.." she said. "But I was doing the same... so it wasn't just you" she said.

I put my arm around her waist and kissed her shoulder. "You okay? Is your leg hurting?" I asked her.

Jennifer nodded. "Throbbing." she said sighing. She shifted her leg a little. "But I'll be fine." she said not wanting the attention on her. She lay there staring at the wall.
