"Ah!" Len walked into the store.

[Balsam]

Meowstic followed. She stopped short when she saw a blue, scruffy Meowstic leaving the store. 'Imagine that.... Bye!' She ran after it.

The young man at the register laughed awkwardly. "Oh dear. Was that little thing a pet of yours, sir?"

[warlord.]

Len laughed sheepishly. "More or less..."

[Balsam]

"They're usually such independent things. Ah, ahem. May I help you, sir?"

[warlord.]

"Yes, actually. Yesterday I saw that you had a pendent with a bass and treble cleft in it. Do you still have it, by any chance?"

[Balsam]

"Ah, yes." The man went over to the window display and carefully got the pendant and chain. He put them into a long black box, and set it on the counter. "I remember, now. You and yer little lady friend were here the other day, looking through the window. Bet this is a Christmas gift for the little lady, am I right?"

[warlord.]

"You'd be correct~"

[Balsam]

"You're in luck. Some little tealette tried to buy it earlier." The man smiled. "Now, how will you go about paying that?"
