"I don't know. What would be best?"

Lizzie got up and walked from the room, looking around for the doctor.

Cara sighed and ran a hand through her hair. "I'd say we tell them, but I don't know if Lizzie and Rory want to keep having to go through that again. That was awful, having to see them like that."

Jasper nodded. "I know," he said. "But... if we wait it might get worse..." he winced. "I hate to say that, but..."

Cara winced as well. "I know," she said, knowing he was right. "So do we tell them then?" She looked over at him.

He sighed, and nodded. "Yeah."

"What if it does get worse?" Cara blurted. She mentally scolded herself, but continued anyway. "They're so young, Jasper. They shouldn't have to be worrying about this sort of thing yet. They haven't even been married for that long."

"I know, baby," he said, and kissed her hand. "We just gotta support them, you know?"

Cara sighed and nodded, looking over at him. "I know. I just..." She shook her head and looked down at their hands. "I just don't want things to come to the worst."

"I know, neither do I sweetheart," she said.

Cara sighed. "I know. But if they do...God only knows what will happen. Lizzie would completely fall apart, and Rory, well..." She shook her head. "All we can hope is that things never have to go that far." She looked over at him. "I'm sorry for being so caught up on the negative."
