A lot of people put tags in their signatures when multiple accounts use the same computer, just so the air is somewhat cleared.

Do you get 2 or 3 , and how is it decided? (Like, do some people get 2 and others 3..?)

You can adopt 2 or 3 , There will be an option

If you adopt 2, will it be rarer? Like isn't it obvious more people will choose 3..
So maybe if you choose 2 they're slightly rarer?

It doesn't matter when, how many, or whatever what types of pets you will get.
IT IS COMPLETELY RANDOM & DON'T GET YOUR HOPES UP HIGH
It is possible to get just uncommons , and it is better to know that so you don't get angry if you don't get a list pet or a rare.

& Last year you got to adopt 3 pets so it will most likely be like that again since of how many members CS has

As long as he doesn't then trade you the pets or you trade him the pets in a very unfair trade or in a way to make it look like you are cheating, you should be fine.

SInce it is randomized on how you get the pets, I dont think it will matter. For example, if you got a joker, a blue balloon, and a ur tiger dog you would be extremely lucky, but you could very well adopt 2 pets instead of three and end up with a uncommon from 2012 and a rare from 2011 etc.

I've always had really bad luck with the 18th. Always.
Every single year that I've been on this site-- the most I ever got was a very rare not on a List.
My hopes aren't too high. The most I'm looking for is trade fodder.

And a note to everyone else: The pets you get are completely, totally random. There is no way to increase your chance of getting a UR or list pet. c:

I know new accounts can't adopt dec 18 pets, but how new is new? I joined in aug/september 2013, can I do this?
