Oh, about dragons, I'm sorry but with the problem of the copyright, I stoped them for the moment.

Huh. I know they're based on a book, but I really don't think one can copyright say, green dragons >_> If the book creators are going after you, they have no more base for their argument than if Erin Hunter went after CS for making cats with patterns similar to warrior cats. =/

Why do you think we don't have a "warrior cat" section any more?

I don't think the dragons should be copyrighted, but I do think the warriors cats should. It wasn't just making a design similar; It was making them as close as possible and naming them after the warrior cats.

I didn't know those had been officially retired, my bad. I also didn't know that they were specific characters, I just thought they were inspired by the series. o.o;

Maybe i'm just behind on my teen lit (sorry, old fart) but i have never heard of most of the series people on this site talk about.
I mean I love cerberus, and the six legged slepnir, and the alice in wonderand themed dogs and stuff,
but the hooha about the dragons/warriors being book characters means NOTHING to me.

Now if there was a set of The last unicorn (Book, book, book, for anyone too young to know anything but the film) pets in the store, i'd shell out real cash for a Red bull.(cough hint, cough)

so in short, i am curious as to what pre/teen novel the maus dogs are possibly based on because theyre going to be gorgeous, maus does excellent work. i'm hoping that those dogs buck the expectations for the blanket, and the blanket is just somehow connected to the concept mysteriously. oh and the squidrats hee. even if they arent squids i love the toasted brown color

(and if someone can explain the current novel character/pet connections to me in PM i would appreciate it.)

I don't believe the Maus dogs are based on anything? One of the theories is that they are based of Masque of the Red Death, but thats E.A.Poe; classic literature, not teen junk. For all we know they could be based off of nothing. Not everything has to be connected to kid/teen books.

#3: I am thinking there are several outcomes:

a. Pink Angel Stained Glass or Mosaic
b. Blue Tiled Stained Glass or Mosaic
c. Dark Pink Fern/Feather Stained Glass or Mosaic
d. Green Leaf or Butterfly Wings Stained Glass or Mosaic
e. Yellow/Orange Swirl Stained Glass or Mosaic
f. Purple Stripes (maybe even piano keys) Stained Glass or Mosaic
g. Rare "Rainbow" Outcome

I dunno. Hey, does anyone else have ideas?

October—I love the sailboats, too! They remind me of a book I did for summer reading this summer, called Following Fake Man, by Barbara Ware Holmes. ^^
