Grovyle charged in, light on her feet, and slashed several times with Leaf Blade, each one connecting.

"Loudred, Flamethrower!" Damon called, and Loudred retaliated with a large blast of fire from his mouth. Grovyle darted out of the way, but the edge clipped her and sent her spinning. "Groooo!!" she cried out in pain.

"Wow, this is intense," Catie murmured, munching on popcorn in the stands. "Blaze Blaziken," Blaziken agreed, taking a handful of popcorn and stuffing it in his mouth. Catie gave Blaziken a dirty look. "If you keep eating all of my food you're gonna get fat," She scolded. Blaziken shrugged, taking more popcorn. Catie rolled her eyes, then stood up. "GO DAMON! YOU CAN DO IT! PUT A LITTLE POWER TO IT!" Catie cheered, dancing in the stands, causing a couple of people to grumble at her.

Jeniveve would glare at Catie, already knowing that she must be the one Damon is quite fond of. She'd immedeately change it to a look of curiousity, before focusing back on the battle.

Grovyle threw her Everstone at Loudred.

Damon chuckled. "Loudred, send it back with Mega-Kick!" he ordered, and Loudred turned on his heel, kicking it and sending it straight into Grovyle's gut.

Jeniveve would look at Damon, assesing his tactics. She'd sigh, before looking at Grovyle and relenting. "Bulletspeed, Grovyle."

"Does that chick have an Everstone?" Catie asked Blaziken, looking up at him in surprise. He nodded, looking a bit miffed himself. "Why wouldn't that girl want her Pokemon to evolve?" Catie wondered outloud.

Grovyle rushed, slamming into Loudred full-power. "Grrr...Grovyle!!" she growled, as Loudred went flying across the field. "Loudred, no!" Damon called out, and grinned. "Not bad, but this is where it ends!" he said, and looked at Loudred. "Now, Hyper Beam!!!" he called out, and Loudred shot a red-and-white beam, aimed directly at Grovyle.
