With my shaking hands, I pull the covers over us. "Let's go back to bed." I said, my voice cracking a bit.

[Jenny,]

Jennifer nodded softly though she knew she probably wouldn't be able to get back to sleep. She slid off him laying by his side.

Keaton
I wrapped my arms protectively around Jen, kissing her forehead, whispering "I love you."

[Jenny,]

Jennifer smiled softly at him. She kissed him softly. "Ilove you too" she said truthfully. She then closed her eyes.

I stayed awake, afraid that if I fell asleep again, I would kill them both a second time.

[Jenny,]

Jennifer tossed and turned and just as she thought she couldn't get to sleep. She let out a sigh opening her eyes again.

Keaton
When I closed my eyes, I saw myself pulling the trigger. It was horrifying. I lived it once. And again a second time.

[Jenny,]

Jennifer looked off to the side though all she could see was darkness. She decided to get up she walked out of the room and onto the porch looking outside.

I got out of bed and took a shower, even though it was only three in the morning.

[Jenny,]

Jennifer leaned on the railings. She looked down at the ground sighing. She heard the water running and assumed Keaton was taking a shower.
