» Promise took a small bite and sat down. "Its pretty good" she said and wagged her tail happily.

Shilah grinned " you see, you get a lot more out of stealing than begging.Humans think of dogs as garbage cans,they throw the stuff they don't want to us,like stale scones. If you want the good stuff, you'll have to work for it." She herself took a bite out of the sandwich.

» Promise smiled. She looked at her front paws that were covered in mud. "Gross" she said and scrunched her nose. She shook her coat to try to get some mud off if her.

shilah looked at Promise try to get mud off her coat " here, go to that fountain over there and wash yourself up" she said, amusedly

Dagger growled quietly as he strolled the alleyways, kicking aside an empty can. He thought he heard some faint voices farther down. His ears perked, trying to hear them as he kept walking in that direction.

[karasu,]

» Promise grinned. "Ok" she said and padded to the fountain. She leaped up and went in. At first she didn't feel the floor underneath her feet and struggled to swim. Eventually she stood up finding the ground under neath her paws. She got water in her nose and sneezed.

Shilah looked at Promise in concern and jumped in, staying near her to keep her afloat

The other canines were now in view. Dagger approached slowly, catching sight of a pup playing in the fountain. His muzzle twitched into a small smile which disappeared the closer he got. He didn't say anything yet, just observed with amusement.

[karasu,]

» Promise looked at her with a scrunched up nose. "I never learned to swim" she admitted trying to stay afloat.

He watched the two canines at the fountain, chuckling to himself as he sat down. "I'd teach you how to swim if you want."
