ShadowWing smiled as JayWatcher gave an attempt of cheering him up. Atleast she cared, he thought to himself. The tears were no longer falling, and he was rather happier than before. "Sorry for being such a wimp..." He sighed. "Wanna go hunting?" he asked, knowing that hunting usually cheers up any cat. "And, next time you smile or laugh at me I won't take it seriously" he laughed.

Jaywatcher shook her head as an apology. Oh how I do wish I could actually tell him that he wasn't being a wimp. She perked her ears at ShadowWing's question and nodded happily. She had never been asked to go hunting with someone before, unless it was for a patrol. She giggled slightly, nodding at his final sentence, the smile sticking to her face.

ShadowWing smiled; JayWatcher was the first female he had ever asked to go hunting with... And she agreed! "You know..." Jaywatcher nodded and watched ShadowWing. She tilted her head slightly, I wonder what he's going to do? She shrugged it off, and continued on her way to the forest. She first took in the scents of the forest, clearing her mind of anything else. She listed the separate scents that she detected. Faint scent of rogue, fairly fresh scent of Coyotesong, and... Parrot. Her ears perked as she listened to the squawks of the noisy, colorful birds.

The slender she-cat crouched down, slowly taking careful steps, cautious not to step on anything that will give her away. When she caught a parrot on the ground, crunching away on a small fruit, she unsheathed her claws and bunched up her muscles. After staying in that position for a little while, she sprung, quickly slamming into the parrot and snapping her jaws around it's neck, yanking her head back to snap it's neck. She then raised her head and turned around, checking to see if ShadowWing was back yet.

ShadowWing twisted around once JayWatcher had gone. He followed her steps, sensing coyotesong's scent. He let out a chuckle as he saw her pounce on a parrot before wincing as she pulled it's head back. She turned around to his direction, possibly checking where he was. He had the urge to say "He's behind you!" but didn't. Instead he crept up behind her back, and pounced onto her, knocking her down before he roly-polied off of her back. He awaited her reaction.

Jaywatcher let out a distorted meow in surprise as she felt a random weight in her back. As she collapsed, she readied to spring to her paws and defend herself, but when she caught the scent of ShadowWing, she relaxed, making the laugh-like noise once again. She slowly stood back up, shaking the grass off of her silky pelt. She smiled down at ShadowWing, letting out an amused purr. She flicked her ears as the lean figure of her adopted sister strode out of the bushes, a chicken dangling in her jaws. She flicked the both of them a smile, she strode away from the two, giving Jaywatcher a slight dip of the head before doing so.

ShadowWing laughed. "You should have seen your face! You looked like you were going to chop my head off!" he smirked. He watched as CoyoteSong wandered through the bushes with a chicken dangling from her jaws. The she-cat smiled and dipped her head at JayWatcher, and ShadowWing dipped his head at her, before she strode away that is. He looked back at JayWatcher, and then at the parrot lying below her. "Parrot. Wow. Like seriously... I've never had parrot in my life. Is it good?"ShadowWing asked, not ever wanting to end this somewhat 'conversation' with JayWatcher but, the sun wasn't going to stay up for ever. He gazed at the sky, asking for it to last forever. and ever. And ever. JayWatcher was amazing to talk to, and he found it ever so simple to reply. Maybe they were just meant to be.

Jaywatcher looked down at the parrot, then up at ShadowWing. She nodded vigorously, showing her enthusiasm. Just as delicious as chicken. Then, she nuzzled it over to him, offering her catch to him. She glanced up at the pink sky, the clouds turning into a light orange color. The sun would be down in a few hours, but she didn't want this day to end. This has been the best day of my life. A purr still rumbled in her throat, happiness still clinging to her face.

He took a tiny piece of the parrot, then nudged it back. "Thank you so much, but I can't! You earnt it; you deserve it. You must be starving anyway. he looked at her with a worried look, then took a nibble of the parrot and nodded. "Just like chicken." he stated.

She shook her head and nuzzled the parrot back over to him. I ate at sunrise before I left camp, I can go a little longer without eating. She curled her tail over her paws, continuing to watch ShadowWing.
