Anyway, in all seriousness, what are your opinions on Poke-Furs (i.e. furs that have pokemon fursonas rather than an original fursona)? Do you support the idea of taking a pokemon, messing with it's design, and calling it your fursona? I honestly don't really have an opinion on the subject yet, so I would like to here yours.

I don't think pokemon should be classed as a real fursona, A fursona should be something you create from your heart.

Whatever people want to do is fine with me. I don't actually think fursonas are that important, apart from something for you to be seen as online.

For a while my fursona was a Pokemon hybrid (it's been demoted to Pokesona) and one of my best online friends' fursona is an Umbreon, so I honestly don't think it's a problem. It is a creature anthropomorphosized, and therefore it fits the perimeter of furry.

I don't really care, if they think a pokemon describes them, that's fine with me.

I have seen a few though, pokemon fursona's, that have been done quite well. These tend to be quite unique on making the character and species in a way very much their own. This I admire, and if they can take something that is already a character and make it their own, more power to them.

What are pokemon really? Creatures from a game that resemble animals. In my mind, that fits the theme of a fursona just fine. I mean, if a person can have a winged horned tiger or a mix between a dragon and a wolf, why not a pokemon? ^^
