Her mom didn't really have the heart to do it, but she might as well have. The whole pregnancy was terrible, as she was drinking and smoking and doing gateway drugs the whole time. Katerina came out a month early, and sick. She had to stay in the hospital for three months after birth, and as soon as she left, her life was a living hell. Her dad was (of course) a not caring jerk and never visited her or even acknowledged that he had a child. So, Katerina's mom got with another guy. He was worse than her real dad. He would always take out her mom and they came back drunk and abused Katerina night and night. That was pretty much her childhood up until she was 8 and ran away. She found herself at an adoption center and went on from there. foster home after foster home, many of them with abusive/molesting parents. Fortunatly most of the time, she stayed in adoption homes, because nobody wanted her. Everyone wants babies. But then, one day on her 10th birthday to be exact, the perfect family came along. It was a mom and a dad and their 13 year old son. They adopted her and cared for her up until the current day, which they still do. Despite all of this, Katerina has pretty much stayed strong, with only a few scars to show a breakdown here or there.}
