"The" Rares List Guide - Do not ask about new UR's!

I've updated the front page with the main rares list, which will have the new URs on it. Hopefully after this re-release we can figure out where the new URs will go perhaps in June/July.

If you read a few pages back, you would see that we couldn't decide on where to put the pot c: It will be put up probably between march and may.

I was actually going to comment on this - why did the coon get valued at two nons and a balloon dog? I totally get the two nons. I've always heard that. But where did the balloon come into play? Does anyone have any trades as evidence for that? Because even now I still value the coon at two nons - I have no idea when the balloon became part of that. Does anyone else have any thoughts on that?

These are just a couple of the coons I have now - I've lost some of the links as I've swapped coons and let my friend borrow one but I know that on at least 2 more occasions (although I think it might have been 3) I've gotten them for two nons or a non + nonjewel (when it was still listed above the other nons).

For as far as i know, the coontail has always been worth 2 nons. I think the confusion about the gap happened because the sunback also used to be worth 2 nons and they werent on the same line? I think that's where it went wrong xD but now that they are back together i'm pretty positive that they are both just worth 2 nons and not an extra balloon in there lol

Oh, well I'm glad that Balloon gap was cleared up. That confused me as well. xD

Er...also, when I was looking up things on the Advent List, I noticed the Buckskin PPS images doesn't work. I also checked the Rainbow Mane, and that wasn't working, either. It probably has to do with the line art change, but I'd just thought I point that out in case someone was looking up what the List pets looked like and got confused. If it's already been noticed, I'm sorry for posting this extra bit. ^^;

I believe it was cleared up before, but the draft was never edited^^

^ Well that explains why I kept getting confused and thinking the Coontail was worth 2 nons then having to correct myself based on the draft; I feel a bad for pricing my Coontail too high though :c It's just not a pet I'm familiar with at all.

I think this does demonstrate that the Rares List has an ability to set values however (this is assuming the person who sent me the trade used the gaps draft / opinions based off the gaps draft to determine what to offer - it was a direct trade with no editing etc). I still think the main reason UR Cucumber goes for its list value sometimes (since it's 2nd rerelease, it seemed a lot rarer in its 1st) is because of the Rares List.

I'll have another look when I get home, but the main list update looks great - one thing that stands out as needing to change is the Big Gap. The gap between Spotted Tribal & UR Mint is rather small I think; do we need to move or remove the Big Gap marker?

They pretty much just aren't sure where to place it yet. So they're going to try to re-evaluate 3-5 months after the re-release to see if they can get a better feel of where it belongs. That's when they plan to place it on the list.
