He usually spends his time flying and patrolling valleys and open forests looking for the lost, whether it be creature or human.
Keeping them in comfort, and partnering them until they find their home.
However, he has an unknown condition...During a meteor shower, the embedded gems on his body start to pulse with a glow. He becomes destructive and ravenous, like a dragon. This lasts until the shower ends, which sometimes lasts up to a whole week.
He is aware of what he does, but feels a sort of relief after he awakes, so he doesn't think it's wrong.

In general, he is very curious, fun/childish/playful, kind, but can be stubborn, cautious, withdrawn.

Cliffs, wide-open plains/valleys, where he can see everything in sight.
