I read and write basic Spanish. I am active and browse almost all the different forums on a nearly daily basis. I am generally very patient and even-minded. I am involved in several involvement and leadership peer groups.
Why do you want to be a General Helper?
I think it would be a great opportunity to contribute to Chickensmoothie, and help some newer members out. I've always admired what the general helpers do on CS, and would love to take part myself. This is one of my favourite sites, and I would love to be able to help out on it in any way possible.

How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): 5266(+1 because of this one ^^) to be honest, I'm not very active around the forums unless it's something I have a part in(like the links in my signature), but I do plan on being much more active, as long as I have the time :D

How many days a week do you usually visit CS?:Every day :3 (unless I'm busy with commissions or school etc, but rarely)

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?:About 2-3 hours, but I tend to go on and off.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position:I'm very experienced with the Oekaki.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?:I think this is a great opportunity for me, and I am underage so I couldn't become an official staff member. I'm not very social or..."happy" in real life, but I have tons of friends on here and I do enjoy meeting a new player here and there through PM or trades ^^ I can be social and happy person on here, however x3 And I guess it's also nice to be able to share my knowledge of CS to others and help them with whatever :3

On this account, August 6th, 2011. But I had an older account called Karta1622 that I forgot the password to and never used again. (Finally figured out the password and sent all my old pets to this account.) So if that counts then I "officially" joined on November 5th, 2009.

How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
Everyday if i'm able too. But if I'm not able too then its usually six days per week but it's usually seven.
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
Hm.. I'm usually on/off every hour because I use my phone a lot ^^ I'm usually on about 10 hours in all, I'd say. Maybe more or less. (Yes, I do spend my life on CS.)
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?
I've been told that I'm good with people, which actually, I am. I really like to help people and can explain things really good. I like to take my time and explain things step to step so they don't get confused and I put in as much detail as I know about the certain topic. I have a very easy temper so I don't get angry easily.
Why do you want to be a General Helper?
I have always loved CS, ever since I laid eyes on the site, I was quite intrigued with adopting virtual pets and putting items on them just seemed really fun. But then I found some other sites and left CS for a while then my friend mentioned it a few years later and I said that it sounded fun. Then I realized that it was the site I had loved before! You don't know how happy I was. I just want to give the new users a nice and happy life on CS by helping them and making sure they know everything they want to know about one of my favorite sites.
Besides, I love to help people, but I never seem to know a topic good enough to help them in real life. But I know almost everything about CS and I'm very happy about that. It would be a honor to be able to help the new members who have questions about the site. I just want them to know what they would like to know and be able to help with even the smallest of things, even if it takes several tries to get them to understand.

How many days a week do you usually visit CS?: Seven; it's very rare that I miss a day.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?: To be honest, I really don't know, since I usually come online whenever I have spare time so it's scattered all over the day. I would guess between 1 1/2 to 2 hours or so on the average day, but if I were to get the job, I would definitely make an better effort to devote at least two or more hours.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position: I can read and write German, not quite fluently but enough to carry on a decent conversation, and I plan to continue to study the language to get better. I frequently answer questions in the Help/Suggestions forum and anywhere else I see them, and I love to welcome new players to the site, although admittedly I haven't been on the Introductions much recently. I'm a very rational person and I'm good at looking carefully at both sides of an argument before I try to find a solution. I always do my best to respond to problems or conflicts calmly and in a constructive manner. I don't know if it counts as a special skill, but I am a great writer and I could help with it for anyone who might need a hand.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?: I love Chicken Smoothie so much and I've always enjoyed helping people find their way around the site. I participate in the "Adopt a Newbie" program and it's been very rewarding for me to be the person introducing a new player to CS. I would love to be able to do it more often and for more people. I already have my private messages open for anyone who is having a problem and wants to talk, but it would be great if I were to become a general helper so it would be clearer to more players that they can come to me for help whenever they need it.

What date did you register as a CS member?: 22 July, 2012. However, I got on CS back in 2010 on my sister's account before she deleted it going to college.

How many days a week do you usually visit CS?: Mainly, all.
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?: Depending. Apart of an unofficial drama, robotics, band, Quest and anime club I do have some times when I am not on but I usually stay on for 6-9 hours, morning, sometimes evening, and at night.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?: I myself don't know any other languages, however my other sister comes over a lot and she is fluent in French and Spanish, so I could get her help. I am surprisingly patient in teaching and helping others despite the fact that I am normally an impatient person. I know my way well around the site and could easily help someone.
Why do you want to be a General Helper?: Well, CS has been a part of my life for a long time, and I'd like to contribute to it by helping the staff so that they can get more work done and not have to work out dealing with questions. Besides, I like teaching people!

I do believe it varies depending upon what the warning was for. When I was very very very new, I got warned for spamming. It was eventually lifted after I think six months...? I believe there is something in your account settings or on your account page that will tell you if you have warnings that are lifted.

How many days a week do you usually visit CS? Every single day!
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? On weekends, all day, minis 1hour. On school days, 3:45pm-12:00pm
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example do you speak any other languages, or have you had any experience in peer mediation? Do you consider yourself a trade-value expert? Do you already answer a lot of questions in the forum?) I answer questions about the game to new players, as well as greet them, and sometimes I will post in the comfort corner to give advice. I know a little about rarities, but not everything! I give moral support to those who need it also.
Why do you want to be a General Helper? I have wanted to help CS players become more 'fluent' in the game, and to help them get acquainted with others and the other helpers

How many days a week do you usually visit CS? Everyday, unless I have a tennis tournament going on

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? On-and-off, around five hours, since I also go to school at the same time so I always left the CS tab(s) open to regularly check back.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position? I speak Chinese and Cantonese (and of course, English), and can type in both languages - also a little bit of French and German, but only basics. I can diffuse awkward and tense situations with a slight bit of humor, and I don't hold a grudge for long. I also browse most of the forums daily, but I mostly frequent the trading, chatting, and the user adoptable areas. I understand all rules and have sometimes had other newer CS users PM me to ask a question, and I can give an easy-to-understand answer. Not sure if writing counts as a skill that would help others, but I'm quite good at that too. I will always take the time to return a private message, and not complain about it to other friends, as that would basically be breaking the rules.

I'm familiar with BBCode and other website coding things, so I can help with that if need be. I always like to make myself clear when speaking to others, as I don't want anyone to misunderstand what I'm saying, and sometimes the newer users on CS can get confused (I know I did) when first starting out, so I will try to help them understand how CS works. I'm also a very neat person, and like to keep things in order. Also, I'm fairly alright with simple and moderate trading, but I will lurk in the 'Is This a Fair Trade' thread and most other 'how much is this worth' threads so I can learn more about the approximate values of pets and items to increase my knowledge. I'm pretty tech savvy, so if any users have problems using their laptops or accessing different pages I could help with that as well.

Why do you want to be a General Helper? Helping other people feels rather natural to me, and I want to introduce them to Chicken Smoothie in a way that they won't forget. If I could help improve CS in any way I can, I would like to make it a better community in general so everyone is dancing around in rainbow confetti with sunshine and butterflies, so whenever someone comes on, I can immediately make them feel better if they're down. I admit that I might not be the most social person in real life, but being on the internet makes up for that, since I love making friends and talking to others. I can also guarantee that I won't use a General Helper status to do dirty on the name of Chicken Smoothie, since I love the site and all the pretty that comes with it.
