Instead his brows pinched together in an expression that touched on a kind of fierce determination as he kicked up snow in his wake. He was back in sight distance of the camp within minutes, letting out a faint note of surprise as a felt rather than saw Lilu come up to run just at his flank, soft shoulder brushing his briefly before she pulled away to hover at his side for the rest of the journey.
Lilu had been running back out of the camp to find Ravage and the others when a figure with a familiar gait had caught her attention a ways off to her left, her paws immediately slipping out of the stride to take her on a wild curve in hid direction. It didn't take her long to catch up to Roan, though usually he could run faster than her, she soon discovered what was weighing him down, and suddenly his slowed progress made sense as her bright eyes picked out the shape of the little pup he was carrying. With a kind of resignation to the task at hand she stuck with him the rest of the way to the camp, their paces simultaneously slowing as they breached the familiar den site. She continued to mimic his movements as he made a beeline for Rox's den, though her brow wrinkled slightly as he stopped upon looking into the darkened den. Lilu couldn't help but frown as he took a short step back and turned to rush towards her own den instead, paws shifting uncertainly int eh snow as she glanced into the empty alphas den first, finding it empty, and then rushed after him, a question drawn across her pretty face.
Roan slipped into Lilu's familiar den with a little withheld sigh, forest eyes turning immediately to her bed of lavender scented pelts that he had helped her collect during their time here. Trailing bits of snow he stepped towards the little nest of furs and set the pup down amongst them, stepping over her quickly to settle into the furs just behind her as well. His ears flicked at he heard Lilu come in, "The furs will warm her up faster than Rox's empty den would have." he answered her unasked question without looking up, paws reaching for the edge of a softened deer hide with deft sureness, wrapping it over the top of the pup gently; brushing off the bits of snow clinging to her with his other paw beforehand. Lilu nodded, glancing at the pup quickly before stepping back out of the den as quickly as she had come in.
Lilu picked her paw across the camp on light paws, movements more relaxed but not quite free of their urgency as she came up to a simple stop before Cascade and Keara. She had picked up Cascades scent in Rox's den during her short peek inside, and figured the male had been told to go there by the actual owner of the den rather than have had wandered in there for his own reasons. With a ghost of an apologetic smile to Keara for interrupting their conversation, she cut her gaze quickly back to Cascade, gilded brows lifting slightly with her voiced request. "Roan has the pup in my den instead of Rox's, will you tell her when she comes back so that she doesn't worry?" her lilting voice was light, uncolored by any affectionate tones or added weight. She didn't know this male enough to have developed the same kind of speech patterns with him that she had with Roan, or even Ravage yet. But they had talked more than once, briefly on most of the occasions, so she knew enough about him to feel certain that she could trust him to take what she had asked to heart. Her dark lined eyes locked on his steadily, rounded ears perked towards him as well, unknowing of how both of these things added up to what was a rather intense fixation of attention. Perhaps she knew of this subconsciously, for she felt a hopeful little hint of a smile tug on her lips, softening her expression.

The brute glanced over slightly as Light, the blind fae, made her way over to him and greeted him kindly. Hello, Light. Your betrothed has run off to find the others? he inquired whilst looking gently to her. Ragnar always felt some sympathy for the female. Although blind, the fae seemed to get around nicely and was able to take care of herself. She was a tad jumpy, but with her mate, she seemed to do just fine. She simply needed someone to look after her.Ragnar
