"Maybe I shouldn't explain." she said pulling her arm out of his grasp. She looked out of the widow crouching down slightly.

"What was Jake saying about a broken door?" I asked, trying not to yell.

[Jenny,]

Jennifer sighed. "I got pissed and we kind of had an argument. I mean he hired Holly! He kicked me out and I kinda kicked the door breaking the glass.." she said avoiding eye contact.

"Damnit, Jen! Why would you even go back there??" I ask, running my hands over my face.

[Jenny,]

Jennifer sighed. "Right. I'm going to leave you to calm down. I'll spend the night somewhere else. I'm also going to get some money to pay for the glass." she said before walking out the door she slammed it hard behind her.

I pulled her back into the room. "Why would you go back?" I ask again, saying the words slowly.

[Jenny,]

Jennifer sighed. "To apologise." she said. "Now let me go" she said firmly.

"Apologize for what, Jen? For getting hit?" I ask, my eyes searching hers for an answer.

[Jenny,]

Jennifer nodded. "And for getting him upset over starving myself." she said. She knew it sounded stupid.

"You shouldn't apologize for those kinds of things. Espessially getting hit!" I said, throwing my hands in the air. She was being irrational.
