How many days a week do you usually visit CS?: About 7 days a week, unless I have a lot of homework, or I'm on the work schedule a lot. For the past few months I've been kinda gone, but I'm on the grid again!
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?: Usually one and a half to about two hours off and on, depending on workload for that day, and my classes.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required): I've been a member of the site for a quite a while, so I know how things work, and I can answer a number of general information questions about many things including, but not limited to: post coding, starting trades, and site and forum rules. I also work at Arby's, an American convenience food restaurant that is all about being friendly. I handle customer service rather well, and my spelling and grammar is pretty good so I don't have to worry about people misunderstanding me. I'm also in my third year of Spanish, and would be able to communicate a little bit in that area as well. Another contributing factor is my ability to be kind to others when I'm annoyed. I deal with that a lot at work. I didn't use to be that way, but during the last few months I've grown up. I also have a smart phone which allows me to get on more often.
Why do you want to be a General Helper?: I like to help people, and I've always wanted to feel like I belong to the website. Also it would be great to be considered an example to other younger players. I know that the mods have a busy job keeping players from causing too much ruckus without having to answer tons of questions asked by newer members, or ones who just don't know. I'm always looking for the next challenge, and I feel that if I'm allowed to join the band of general helpers, I could contribute some pretty good information to users, new and old, and have fun doing it!

I visit every day.

About five hours each night on weekdays, seven or eight on weekends.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position:
I can at least speak conversational level in French and a bit of Japanese. The Japanese will definitely improve before the semester is over. Currently, I help mod a Club thread, the Original Characters club, I'm an artist for the Plains Sleipnir adoptable and run my own art shop. I also know most of the list pets values and have successfully traded for a few of them. I'm currently a co-leader of an at school club and constantly have to help plan things out and get people to work together.The last thing I'll mention is I've volunteered at local summer clubs to help supervise the children that went there.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?:
Honestly, I think it would be a great chance to become more integrated with the CS community. I already spend a great deal of time on this site and would love to try and help out the people on the site. Recently, I helped a new player learn how to put gifs into there siggy. It was such a wonderful feeling to help someone out with the basics of CS.

How many days a week do you usually spend on CS?;; Usually every day but it all depends on what my schedule is like. Stuff in real life can get pretty busy for me.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?;; On weekdays, when I have school, 2-3, on weekends, 4-7, and on holiday breaks, 4-8.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?;; To be honest, I'm not the best at explaining things and I'm not great with pet and trade values, but a lot of my friends say I have a great, yet subtle sense of humor that makes me very approachable. I try to be friends with everyone, which could possibly be helpful if I become a General Helper.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?;; Like I said, I'm not too great at explaining things like this, so please bear with me cx. First and foremost, I love helping people. It really makes my day when I can help somebody out. I know I'm not a super old member, but I think I know a rather lot about chickensmoothie. If I get chosen to be a General Helper, I think I can bring a bit of 'pizazz' to the chickensmoothie site and staff c:

On an average week, just about all 7. With of course the odd event that may come in the way, but I still do try to at least take one daily peek a day.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position:
Well, I'm currently a chatmod for the JBD fan website, which I supposed wouldn't really count as full mod experience (I'm aware this isn't a mod application, but still), but I would think that it would still count for something. Mostly it means helping around the chat, especially with newbies that might need assistance. I always love helping out, I can remember how hard it was when I first started out on this site so I like returning the favour in honour of those who helped me! I live in Canada, so I'm polite fluent in English, and I would say that I can speak at least a few words of French. I'm not gonna lie, I was never the best at trading values and the like, however I wouldn't say that I'm completely horrid at it either - and at the very least, if someone were to ask about a trade I found rather difficult, I could point them to the very valuable resources that we already have on here (The Rare's List, and so on).

As far as the "technical" aspects of things go (editing profile, signature, trade settings, posts, etc), I could definitely be of value to anyone who may ask! After spending my time on here, I would think that I could definitely fulfill any requirements that a General Helper may need.

Plus I know CPR.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?
Hm, this is a tough question. There are a ton of reasons why I would want this position. One reason might be that I've always been fond of helping people around - whether digitally or in "real life". Whenever there's ever someone new at my school, I always make it my job to be especially friendly and helpful: specifically at helping them cope with the new change of scenery that comes along with a new school. I would think that the principle could easily transfer into the digital realm, and so of course by extension CS. The reason that I haven't been all that active with the assistance lately is only because I don't really want to impose on the already hired staff; specifically the existing GH. They're doing a wonderful job as it is, however I can totally see why you would want some more. I'm sure that it would be rather hard to help anyone who needs it, with the ever growing CS population and all!

• I have a total { and constantly rising! } of 1561 posts on Chickem Smoothie.

How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
• Everyday! I usually always have wifi or a computer at hand, and it's very rare that I have something do busy happening that I cannot log on at all. Very rare!

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
• Depends really. I'm usually on and off all day long, meaning that it probably totals from anywhere between 4-9 hours total. During the school week I'll usually get on for a half an hour in the morning, from 8:00am - 4:30pm is when I have school, and then until about 12:00am or 1:00am I am usually constantly hopping around on CS on my mobile device. Weekends I travel to different areas, but I will have accsess to the site all day long, meaning that I spend a lot of free time here ~

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example do you speak any other languages, or have you had any experience in peer mediation? Do you consider yourself a trade-value expert? Do you already answer a lot of questions in the forum?)
• I will be honest, I'm not the best at rarities. I do know very obvious things, but when it comes to more complicated things such as list trading and fairness, I'm not entirely the best. However, I do know how everything works here, I know where forums go, where to find things, how all the settings work { Profiles, Trading, Board Preferences, etc } so I could find myself being very helpful in that sense. I know very minor Spanish, Swedish, and Greek, though I don't think they would be very helpful. I've also had expirence on other websites with being moderators/admin assistants, though I unfortunately cannot prove it since most of these websites failed, and left me without the job. I also have a lot of paitence and good social skills, I would never be rude, love to help even if I must explain things a thousand times, and can also make a new friend in the process! I also have helped many users in the past, when they posted something in the wrong area, PMed me with questions, welcomed new members, I feel as if I try to involve myself with helping users. c:

Why do you want to be a General Helper?
• I am currently an honor student at an advanced school, and when I get home, I tend to have a lot of free time on my hands. I enjoy helping other people in general, wether that be that I help online or otherwise. I very much enjoy this site and know that the jobs here can get a little difficult at times with so many members, so it's nice that I know I'll not only be helping people have fun and guide them through, but I'm also helping the staff out as well.

I speak swedish. Having been on CS for a few years, I know the answer to most of the common questions asked in the forum. I know the rulesI'm also 18+, which might be a good thing in some cases.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?
I have been a member of CS for over 3 years, and I would love to help the community which I have grown to love. I have gained a lot of knowledge in the time I've been here, and because of that I feel like I could be a helpful resource. I'm also at a point in my life where I have a lot of free time that I would love to spend on helping my fellow chickensmoothians. Being a General Helper would make me feel useful, and it would give me something meaningful to spend my time on. I feel like I'm a reliable person with a lot of CS knowledge that could be put to use.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position I can definitely help with the oekaki / art related forums, as well as adoptable forums. I must say, I'm definitely not a trading expert and I also speak rough spanish. I have had experience with peer mediation and I think I'm pretty knowledgable about CS!
Why do you want to be a General Helper? Because I have been on CS for 4+ years I think I am pretty knowledgeable about a lot of different things! When I was newer I had to learn a lot of things on my own not realizing that General Helpers would help me since I spent more time on the pets than the forums. I would really love to help out the members of CS, young or old whether or not I get the position I will probably go back to what I had done in the summer now that I have more free time!

How many days a week do you usually visit CS?

On average, every day of the week. I had to leave for a few months due to personal reasons, but I've recently returned, and still understand completely the workings of this website.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?

Typically, I spend at least three hours on CS for weekdays, and about seven or eight on weekends.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position:

I speak Spanish almost fluently, and if it happens to apply, I have rather extensive experience in BBC code formatting. I've made multiple forms and signatures that I believe have come out quite nicely. Also, since I've been a member of the site since 2011, I have a developed understanding of how things work around here, from roleplaying to coding to trading to rules, I can give advice on nearly anything. Outside of ChickenSmoothie, I tutor elementary school children, so through teaching them, I've learned how to explain things so nearly anyone can understand. I believe this would be a huge asset when I'm instructing or helping a member through something they don't quite understand on CS. Also, on many roleplays, I've collaborated with or explained things to many members with a rather polite and kind tone [not to mention my smiley faces c: xD], and would love to extend that help further.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?

Well, when I was new to CS, many members, including general helpers, guided me through the site and talked me through the inner workings of trading, roleplaying, and so many other things. I'd love to carry this forward. One thing I've enjoyed from tutoring younger children is their reactions when everything finally fits together and makes sense. I believe I can do that here as well, which would be a great privilege. I love CS, and I'd love to help others feel the same. Thank you for reading. c:
