He couldnt say he wouldnt ever trust the new boy again, soon he would warm up to him but wouldnt be that close.Though still got an uneasy feeling at the boys sudden appearance, finding his personality alittle annoying but that was just Dirk.

A sense of restlessness had overcome him, but he walked back to the rest of the group. There was always a hint of emotionlessness about him - given that his eyes were always blocked. But this time, his face seemed to be carved out of rigid apathy alone. He still felt bad, sure. But he also felt a confusing mixture of isolation and restlessness all at once. Part of him wanted to close his eyes and sleep, and wake up safe and sound like none of this had ever happened. But the other part of him wanted to be rational. His lips were a tight line and he sat down next to Dirk, casting a flickering glance over at Keplyn. Dave watched the kid fall into some sort of sleep, and could see how defensive he looked. 'Sit here and rot?' Dirk's toneless voice caused Dave to look back again, and he felt the hair on the back of his neck stand up a bit. Sitting here and rotting were what those dead bodies were doing, and Dave was not ready to be considered a dead body. He let his legs fall straight out in front of him, and fell into a position that had him mostly lying down. Curling up was something he had done enough of, he needed to stretch a bit. Despite his fever, he the restless still boiled inside of him. 'i dont care what we do as long as its absolutely not sitting and rotting.

"Calm your tits Dave.Wasnt being serious." Was all he had to really say, looking at him with a faint forced smile, didnt know why it was there, it kind of just smacked itself on his face.Dirk had extremely mixed feelings about everything right now, come of them where scared, which almost /NEVER/ happend.None the less he remained looking content.

"We are certainly not going to sit here and rot. How about we all get some sleep, and we can go looking for more survivors later. And I don't want any of you giving me any complaints. I'm mostly talking to you, Dirk. I'll keep watch."

(Oh, and I may not be posting for I have absolutely no idea how long or when. I have a physical later this morning...)

"You must be insane.If anythings going down /Im/ the one going to be taking watch.No questions asked." He just said flatly, giving her that hollow look and ingoring her sort of insults, figuring he might as well.

Haley grumbled under her breath but complied. "Fine. I'm going to go look for some fever medicine for Dave. Unfortunately, I don't have any, but there's a pharmacy not too far from here. I'll only be gone a few minutes."

(Well, I'm alive. I finsterwallied in the doctor's office and nearly passed out, though)

"Didnt the wimpy kid say he knew how to make meds?" He asked, pointing the boy hed almost decapitated with a slight grin, finding his fear alittle amusing.

Nepeta stayed quiet as they talked. At this point she liked the idea of sitting and rotting. She pulled the blanket tighter around her and looked at everyone's faces. How were they so calm? She felt like she could just explode. The girl wanted to just disappear, as it would be better than their current situation. When Haley spoke she snapped out of thought. "I'll come with you. We should always go places in pairs... Just in case." She suggested, standing and placing her blanket aside.

[Skrooker]

"Thanks, Nepeta. And just in case, maybe Bec should come with us." The large white dog stood and trotted to her side at the mention of his name.

Nepeta nodded. When bec came over she took a small step away. Being that girl obsessed with cats, she never really liked dogs. She was actually a little afraid of them. She shot a glare at the dog before speaking. "Mew guys keep watch fur any other survivors ok? Don't attack them, Dirk."
