Agreed on the favorites thing <3 There was one person I used to trade with all the time and we would send each other these "Merry Christmas" and "Happy Easter" things with two pets we'd entrusted to each other's care. Still have the dog, so does she actually. I'll occassionally go through my old trades to see who kept hold of the pets we swapped, makes me feel good ^^ There was one pet I saw who'd been through a couple owners but still had the original name I'd given it except that someone had put little hearts in it. Good feels there too.

Remember when CS displayed your age just under your username on your user-page (I think it was Moonflight who always had it set at 100 years old)? And the names of those who's birthday it was that day would be listed at the very bottom of the page? And people would gift bomb them?

That was early '09, they cut that before August. I remember that because I was using one of my characters birth-date (in August) and it got cut before my name appeared. lol.

One of my favourite memories was that the Black Advent used to only have an 'Uncommon' rarity tag when the tags first came out.
They were much easier to get and people would just gift them.
I also remember when the first store pets came out :3

I don't remember when demand started for all these pets, I just remember trading being easier :3
Even if I was a childish brat most of the time as a newbie ^^'

though i do miss the ease of trading i do not miss the old trading system, having to enter the pets id was particularly bad for me because i mix up numbers constantly

Or when you just deleted any old pet you didn't like instead of trading them (I was too lazy back in 2008/2009 to add them to trades and such so I just deleted them, lol).

All my light leopards, deleted the second I found my dark leopard D: I didnt save a single spare...

I know! Black Advents were always lovely but they were pretty much just another Advent. Same with Angel Advents. Even though they ARE technically a bit rarer. XD
I couldn't tell you how many times I swapped one Advent for another and didn't give it a second thought.

Or how many of those EatMes and DrinkMes and Cereberus I traded off for nothing more than a few mid '09 commons and uncommons.

Hmm. I guess the first Halloween on here doesn't really count as an event, seeing how all we did was adopt a pumpkin, but the first Advent... Oh dear, yes ♥
It was beautiful. Advent has always been my favourite event on here, and the first one was truly magical.
The excitement when the first re-release happened! The first ever UR pets! I was so madly in love with the cat, but thought I'd never get it.
And to see the pre-July pets released when previously all we could do was to admire them in solloby's old archive...
I always wanted the Vixen, and to actually get it for the event was such a great feeling <3

But oh how CS has evolved since then!
The events now are so huge and we get so much awesome stuff, I'm not sure if I'd have believed it possible six years ago.
Every time we have a new event I keep thinking how glad I am that I stuck to CS back then.
It's always a blast to see what the staff is capable of.
