"Oh well, I was going to ask her who should mentor Frozenpaw. He seems keen, but I want to make sure his energy is channeled right." He confessed to the medicine cat apprentice.

She felt herself be guided and she felt safe. She couldn't explain it, but she did. She nodded to his question before meowing "I... I could have saved him, but he didn't let me." It was the first time she told anyone about what she saw on the day of the fire, but it felt like a weight was lifted off of her.

Brambleheart blinked, so it did involve the territory. Brambleheart didn't exactly know who she was talking about, but knew it involved the fire. Brambleheart never liked fire, even before it happened, so he wasn't too keen about it.

Brambleheart brushed his pelt against Parrottail's, wanting to comfort her. He meowed, "he didn't want you hurt, for any Clanmate will die for one another." He wondered who the 'he' was, but didn't ask. It was Fallenstar, probably, for Brambleheart hadn't really been there when the fire started.

He looked at the ground. "Don't worry, it's my job any way." He muttered to her.
Parrottail
She looked into Brambleheart's eyes. "I... it was Fallenstar." She looked down again. She had admitted it at long last. "He told me to get out so he could save a cat. I didn't see who it was, but I paniced and fled." She choked. "I should have stayed." She started to tear up again at the thought.

..She just nodded. For some reason, she seemed sad.

Brambleheart remembered the fallen leader of the Clan. Even though he wasn't at camp when the fire started, and he actually didn't quite remember where he ACTUALLY was, it was mouse-brain of him to forget.

Brambleheart tried not to be awkward. Awkward was not the best trait right now. He nudged her shoulder and mewed, "Fallenstar wouldn't have wanted his Clanmate to get hurt, as Clanmate, I mean you. He was a great, and loyal leader. He risked his life to save what he cares about."

He looked at Fallensnow and asked "Why are you sad." with a concernd voice.
Parrottail
She looked at him with teary eyes and nodded. She sighed "I know, but it's hard to forget the image. I was the last cat to see him alive."

FallenSnow looked up at Swallowstar and said "I feel like I have no one. I mean, my parents died in the fire.. And I don't really have any friends.." She sounded as if she was going to cry, but she didn't cry, she stayed strong.

He sighed. "We all lost ones dear to us." He meowed thinking of his mate. "I lost my mate. We were going to have kits together one day, but then the fire happened."
