As soon as space was available, Will was pushing the other boy up into the vent above his head. It only took a moment for him to clamber up into the metal vent before Will was able to grab his hands. He leapt at the same time the other boy pulled, making it a bit easier to lift his bulk into the duct system. As soon as he had a firm grip on the edge, he pulled himself in. The way they had maneuvered themselves, Will ended up behind Tyler in terms of the direction they were heading. "Go. I'll follow." He grabbed the vent cover and pushed it back into place, the metal clicking beneath him as it secured itself again.

Charlie continued on her left arm had numbed down to a dull throb, only flaring up if she set it done wronglt but atleast it had numbed enough so she could use it. Moving on quicker her face broke into a sweat once more, her hair becoming uncomfortably damp. She flipped her hair annoyingly out of her face once again, a sudeen realization that she must have left it on the floor in the lab. Cursing under her breath she continued on anyway, there was no way she could go back plus she cold always steal a new one once they were outside. She couldn't help but roll her eyes when she heard Tyler calling to her, even using a new nickanme instead of her full name. But she didn't say anything, for now she would allow it until she became annoyed and would ask him to stop but she doubted she would. She actually liked getting little nicknames from people as long as they didn't mind getting one back, one that came quickly to mind was "Ty...But maybe I'll just stay with Tyler I'll have to wait and see how he responds" she thought and peered up ahead. She could just make out light coming from somewhere ahead, quickening her pace as much as she could she soon came to a metal grate the other guy had mentioned. She kicked at it with her boots only loosening it a bit, but she could feel it moving under the force "Tyler! A little help down here!"she called kicking at it again.

Tyler could barely turn around in the small space, but managed to do so. He crawled down the vent, meeting Charlie at the end. Thankfully, to the trios growing luck, the space was large enough for Tyler to reach his leg through and kick the vent. The grate popped out and clattered against the ground. "You go first Char." he said glancing behind him. Will had made it, and was right behind them. The Whitecoats didn't seem to be waiting outside, nor did they follow them up the vent. Tyler wondered if they had given up and just let them escape. It wasn't their style to let their experiments go, but it would cost them time and money to go after them.

Charlie flinched as the vent clattered to the ground, rolling her eyes she looked to Tyler "Yes Ty" she said with a small grin and an excited squeal she lowered herself and jumped down. Hitting the ground she barely caught herself from falling face first, but did just in time straightening up she raised a hand to act as a visor against the sun. Looking up she saw the sky bright blue just as she remembered, like it would magically change color while she was gone but still. It beckoned to her, her wings unfolding and coming to full span she slowly stroked them up and down. She came to a flutter lifting a few feet off the ground for just a few seconds before dropping back down and folding them against her back. She was out and she could easily just fly away and be free once again, but obviously that hadn't worked out before. She looked to the vent waiting for Tyler and the new guy to come out, ready to get a move on and get away from this place as soon as possible.

Will started moving as soon as Tyler did, following as close behind him as possible. He heard a clang, nodding happily that they had gotten the grate off. He saw the girl jump down easily, and then the other guy followed. Will easily slid to the ground, grabbing the grate as he landed. Hoping to be able to use this entrance again, he leapt up and slammed the grate firmly into place."It isn't safe here. We have to move. Now." He let his ears and tail out once more, allowing him to hear better. It had felt strange to go without them while inside the building, seeing as how he normally just left them out. He started walking at a moderate pace into the treeline, in a similar direction from whence he came earlier. "Stay alert and be quiet. It's very dangerous out here."

Tyler nodded, following Will. He took in his surroundings; he hadn't seen the outside world in years. The area surrounding the complex was mostly dirt and grass. But several yards away was the beginnings of a forest, which was were Tyler assumed they were escaping to. The trees were enormous, spread apart, and had long, leafy branches. The ground underneath was moist, often moss covered. Tyler kept on the alert for anything the Whitecoats might send after them, but there was nothing. It was almost dead silent, except for the sounds of nature and the whine of machinery. He looked over at Charlie, "We made it out." He said, so quiet that he couldn't even hear himself say. It was more out of bewilderment than trying to be stealthy. They, him and Charlie, had made it out, with the help of Will. They were free, free from the experiments of the Whitecoats. They could do whatever they wanted, whenever they wanted. Everything the world had to offer was open for their taking.

Charlie turned at the sound of Tyler and the boy appearing from the vent she nodded her agreement to The boy as he suggested they move now, and she couldn't agree more. She was surprised a second later to see large auburn ears to sprout from his head as well as a tail from behind the color matching his ears but ending with white. She knew this animal to be a fox but the ears didn't seem to match "I'll ask later, when we're safe" she thought and looked behind him at Tyler. She saw his lips move as if saying something but she couldn't hear what he had said, the breeze taking it away from her. She watched as the guy began walking towards the treeline and looked to Tyler for confirmation that they should follow. But she didn't wait instead she was already following after him as she thought of the whitecoats coming out and catching them once more. Her skin crawled and her feet itched to get on the move and get as far away from here as possible, she could always just spread her wings and fly away but then she'd be alone again. Besides it would be nice to travel with a group for awhile, they could depend on each other instead of fighting for survival by herself.

Will walked quickly, only slowing once he was at the edge of the trees. He heard Tyler's comment, smirking slightly to himself. Yes, they made it out. They were free. But their struggle had only begun. In their, they only had to worry about being experimented on. Now, they had to find food and water, avoid the robots and hunters, and keep their sanity. Living alone for a year had taken its toll on Will, though it wasn't showing much at the moment. Once he was within the shadows of the trees, he turned and waited for the other two to join him. Leaning casually against a tree, he made eye contact with them. "If we are travelling together, we are going to have to work together. We protect each other, we find supplies for the good of the group, and we have to understand each other." He flicked an ear, taking a breath. "I'm Will. I am a maned wolf. Who and what are both of you?"
