Amberfeather-
Amberfeather awoke in her den quietly, and yawned. A blanket of snow covered the ground outside, and her nest was soft and cozy. She looked next to her and purred, as her mate Nightshade was snoring softly, snuggled next to her.

Nightshade
Nightshade slept soundly next to his mate. He was very happy, and he hoped that would last forever. He had a dream;

Nightshade walked through the forest with his mate Amberfeather. It was a beautiful snowy night, and he was bringing her to the frozen lake. "Isn't it beautiful?" he asked her softly. Amberfeather nodded, and lay down in the frosty grass. Nightshade then lay down next to her and gazed at the stars. "I wonder if my mother is up there watching." Nightshade said. Amberfeather nodded, and then snuggled closer to him.

Amberfeather-
Amberfeather gazed at her mate fondly for a few moments, enjoying the warmth and comfort being with him gave her. She sighed, and stood up from her nest knowing that she had patrols to organize. "I love you Nightshade," Amberfeather murmured into his ear, and padded into the cold snowy area that was the camp.

Nightshade
Nightshade awoke, hearing her murmur and purred. He followed her into the snow-filled camp, twining his tail with hers.
