"M-me?" stutters Edgepaw. "M-me? N-no... I-i C-can-n't-t." agony flashes across her face.

SunStar slips inside to check on RainFall and the kits.

"And why can't you?" He wondered.

"T-thorn.." is all she whispers, her voice rough. The little she-cat turns and dissapears into the barn.

SunStar had just reappeared to hear CloudTail's words, "We were attacked while looking for some..." he explains quietly

"I see..she must be grieving.."

SunStar nods. "I believe, that with time, the pair would have been mates. But now I think she should be a medicine cat; that is what StarClan told me." he murmmers the rest of what had happened leaving out his blessed curse.
