Whew, this hasn't been updated in quite a long time! First off, I would like to apologize greatly on behalf of all of us. We've all been quite busy as of late, but hopefully we can avoid a big gap like this xD
For future reference, if you apply for anything, please do not repost/quote. We will see it, there is no need to repost. It just makes it harder when updating ^^
Since this is going to be a huuuuuge post, I am guessing it may take more than one post. If I post this and you ont see yourself on here, that probably means I'm working on posting another.

When I was a newb, I didn't get any help. I quit CS for a while and found the site again back in Easter 2012. I basically rage-quit. I don't want that to happen to anyone else.
How often do you get on CS?:
Everyday, usually 6-9 hours EST as long as I'm not racing my dragster.

I think I should be able to adopt a newbie because I have good knowledge with things 5that may be hard to understand in the beginning like Role-playing and rarities with trading. I also believe that i should be allowed to adopt a newbie because i would love to help a new joiner of chicken smoothie to understand CS, as i know what it's like to join this website with out having any knowledge of anything like trading, role-plays, oekaki, and basically the whole website.

I try to get onto CS everyday. I sometimes might miss one or two days in the week.

The strong scent of enemy clans stung her nose as she arrived through the thick tree line into the grassy plain. She looked at her mentor and asked quietly, "Are we really going to meet Shadowclan here? The elders told me that they're so cruel that they eat young apprentices!" Icepaw quivered amidst her words. Her mentor gave a deep chuckle and looked at her through kind eyes. "Why you know the elders take pride in tricking younglings like you. These days it seems to be the only thing they receive entertainment from!" He gave her a friendly nudge and suddenly her brother, Rockpaw, pushed between them and hissed into her face, "Well I bet shadowclan would certainly love a fat, juicy apprentice like you!" A teasing smirk spread across his muzzle. Icepaw huffed and pushed her brother aside. This may be my first gathering,s she thought, But im not going to let Anything ruin this night for me!

Why should you be able to adopt a newbie?: I've adopted once before and I'd loved to try once again. I've been on CS for about three years now, so I'm pretty experienced with the more basic things, and a few others.
How often do you get on CS?: I'm usually on every day, but sometimes throughout the summer I am without internet and can't be on.

Why should you be able to adopt a newbie?:: Well, I think i should be able to adopt because I am very skilled with knowledge on CS. Even though my art skills on Oekaki are not very good, I still know everything about the site. I have also been a faithful member for almost five years, and hopefully, many years to come.

How often do you get on CS?:: Why, everyday of course! I honestly do not think I could live without it.

Roleplay Example:: I looked down at my shoes. I should've listened to Commander, instead of going out on my own. I wash't ready for Earth. 'Disorganized,' he had said. He had told me right. And now, I was drowning in the rain. The water was slouching over my Vans. My items in my backpack getting soaked and ruined. I guess I just gave up. I put my head in my arms and crossed them over my knees. I fell asleep in sorrow to the rain splashing against the grass and shrubbery.

I woke up to the blinding light of noon. I coughed and spit up water. I was sick and tired of water. Too much! It never rains in Gædchen. I looked around. I was in a cave, with a little hole in the roof for sunlight. It was dry in the shelter. I heard a noise outside, stepping on the damp forestry. I sat up slowly and breathed raggedly, preparing myself. The creature was standing right outside. I roared and heard a ripping sound. I was on my paws in seconds, my tail high and my ears perched, my jaw locked. I finally got to see my intruder. It was another wolf, black and white, with brilliant green eyes. We stood there, very territorial and tence. He spoke first. "Calm down. I rescued you."

"Bërćhur! You lie!" I growled. "I was fine!"

"You were going to die," he giggled softly and rested his stance, seemingly calm.

I narrowed my eyes and barked. "I am strong enough! I can do without help, understand?"

"Whatever," he smirked and brushed past me.

I snuffed and lowered my tail. I suppose I should be nice to him. If I was truthful to myself I would have died. I shifted back into my human form and walked back into the cave to find him in his human form as well.

"Who are you?" I questioned.

He smiled slyly. He was attractive really, with messy brown hair, green eyes, strong build. "You're one of those preppy slaves from that dipship, aren't you?"

"I was fine on my own," I made for the entrance to the cave.

"No!" He grabbed my hand. "I'm Evan."

"Tamara," I said satisfied and sat back down. "Why did you leave me? I could have been killed by that thing."

"My territory," he shrugged. "Anyways, welcome to Earth. We haven't had much shifters here since, forever."

I looked into his heart felt eyes and smiled. "They sent me here to look for survivors, but, honestly, I don't think they're coming back for me."

"Oh," Evan sighed. "Well, you really can't trust them. Sorry for the weak introduction. That thing that almost ate you, well, that was a Śamàmoray. They're not the biggest thing on Earth." He smiled crookedly.

I stopped breathing and gulped. If that wasn't the biggest thing, then, I'm in trouble.

Why should you be able to adopt a newbie?: I have been here for exactly one year next week, and I really enjoy helping people. I know I needed help when I first started and my friends in school assisted me, but I know there are people who still need help despite the occasional question being answered.
How often do you get on CS?: I usually get on once a day: in the early morning (eastern US time), and in the late afternoon.
Which categories would you like to apply for?: languages (I am bilingual in Danish and English), general knowledge, roleplaying
How long do you typically spend on CS each day you get on?: in the mornings about 5 to 10 minutes, and in the afternoon 30+ minutes, depending on my work load.

Tera~ 20~ Foreign Lady~ Carriage Procession

Mother and I sat in our carriage, waiting to be let inside by the guards. I was anxious to return this year; Clara had fallen ill just before we departed and Father promised to send a letter to the castle when she was well again. It had been a 5 day trip, if she hasn't gotten better, she could only have gotten worse.

Finally, the carriages started moving and we rumbled along till we passed the gates. We stopped. "Name and certification, please," a guard asked. Mother pulled out papers depicting our nobility and said, "Natalie Sterling, presenting my daughter, Tera Sterling." The guard let us pass.

My account turns one year old tomorrow. Does that make me eligiable?

Why should you be able to adopt a newbie?: I have been here for a year and a bit now and I know how it felt when I first got on. Everything was confusing and I had no idea what to do. I didn't know there was a thread like this at the time so I tried to get along myself. I have made many mistakes that I regret on here and I would like to help other people not make those mistakes. I'm really nice and easy to take to and I love helping people. If I could stop 1 person from trading a very rare for an unknown rarity pet(something I did when I was a newbie) then I would be thrilled.
How often do you get on CS?: I am on CS as often as I can be. Normally I am on everyday unless I don't have access to wifi or my laptop(which is rare) I am usually on CS everyday for 4 hours spread out through out the day.

Basic knowledge of everything on CS. Covers basic knowledge of the below categories. Almost everyone should be able to apply for this category. You do not need to be able to apply for all of the below categories, just have basic knowledge of them.

Forums
Requirement: At least 500 posts in the forums
Should only be applied to by people who often use the forums, understand how to use them, use things like bookmarking, search function, and where to look for specific things within the forums. This does not include the oekaki.

Trading and Pets
Should only be applied to by people who have basic knowledge to trading. How to set up a trade, add items and pets, how to find pets that are for trade, how to set up trade rules, how to organize pets, how to set trade visibility settings on pet groups, and how to find pets in the archives. You don't have to be a super-active trader, just know how trading works.

Rarities
Requirement: Pass the rarities test that will be sent to you through PM
Should only be applied to by people who know how to explain how different things effect how much a pet is worth, be able to tell if a trade is fair, and know what would be fair for certain pets. You should also know how to trade up. If you fail the test nothing bad happens, you just won't be put into that category, so it doesn't hurt to try.

How long do you typically spend on CS each day you get on?: Just enough (like I said before) to do all my messages/trades & current events, but sometimes longer to send out trades/check out forums/signiatures ect. so 10 minutes-2 hours

Why should you be able to adopt a newbie?: The first thing I'd like to say is that I only wish I'd been able to receive advice from an older, more experienced member of CS; I was terribly lost when I first started. :S With that said, the most important reason I'd like to be able to adopt a young newbie is is that I'd love to be able to help those users who aren't sure what to do. C:
How often do you get on CS?: I try to be online CS daily, unless something happens that I wasn't previously aware of. I can guarantee, however, that I'm online for at least three days a week.
Which categories would you like to apply for?: The categories I'd like to apply for are general knowledge, BB code, roleplaying, trading and pets, and rarities.
How long do you typically spend on CS each day you get on?: During the weekdays, I try to be online CS for a minimum of twenty minutes, but that's not always possible. Every day except weekdays I'm online CS for a minimum of thirty minutes, unless something happens that I wasn't previously aware of.

Roleplay Example:
In the shade of a rosy-colored maple, an auburn vixen with lovely amber eyes kept a watchful eye on her kit as he leaped and twirled in the air with beautiful dexterity. The sugar maple, whom regularly served as shelter for the family of foxes, gave a shudder as scarlet leaves were sacrificed to the crisp breeze.
"Look at me, Mum!" the fox kit cried as he pinned a tangerine leaf down unto the woodland ground. The vixen offered a slight grin as she let out a comfortable sigh of gratitude; everything was going to be perfect this autumn. Why, here came her mate with a freshly killed rodent.
"Da!" the kit exclaimed, smothering his face into his da's thick crimson pelt. The father gave the kit a playful lick in between the ears and padded over to the beautiful vixen; he dropped a vole in between the beauty's paws and gave her an affectionate nudge.
“Things will be different this year, Amber,” the male announced as they watched their precious kit tumble into a pile of leaves, “I’ll make sure of it.” Amber gave a slight nod in return for his kind, brave words.

Karpos was calm, calmly curled up at the stomach belonging to the only warmth he ever knew. The mother that had let him hang in her belly for a little while then fed him in his dark and safe world which had consumed him with peace and tranquility. When his little eye lids started to disappear before him and his blue eyes were visible, but in his own eyes, he only saw a blurry new start. There was more than it appeared to be, the blurry figure that he made out to be his mother was asleep it appeared. A small little cry from everything being so confusing made him mad a bit. "Burrlyeh! Everytians Burrlyeh!" He cried out, not caring for his mother and sister who were asleep. At least, he was pretty sure his sister was asleep. That was left to be determined, however he knew his mother was there and her breathing against him told him she was sleeping. Or at least something like that.

Small little high pitched squeals were then admitted, a new word that was calm and courageous to him. His feet started to slowly gain balance as he started to stand, something he had never done before. His eyes calm as he tried to see where he was standing, but alas everything was blurry and he could only see little bits in front of him. “Mama… mamamama? Mmmmmmmaaaaaaa?” He asked as he stumbled back down to the ground. He hoped someone would answer his call of distress. That was what he hoped for, someone who would teach him, though of course his mind hadn’t reached that conclusion yet. The only thing he knew right then was that he had tried to stand, he fell and let out a high pitched call because it had hurt a bit to stumble. That was his SOS.

Why should you be able to adopt a newbie?: Well, I really love helping out around cs. I try to do it as much as I can, and what a better way to adopt a newbie? c: I have also adopted one in the past, and helped them pretty well. I know quite a bit about cs, after being here for over a year.

How often do you get on CS?: Every day most of the time, for a few hours (time spread apart, maybe half an hour constant, then back on in two hours for an hour, ect). Although, some days I cannot find the time to get on due to school, my new baby brother, chores, ect.

Which categories would you like to apply for?: General Knowledge, Forums, Roleplaying, Oekaki, Trading and Pets, Rarities, and I'm willing to try on Rares List, but I'm not 100% sure if I will pass the test.

How long do you typically spend on CS each day you get on?: As said above, I spend a few hours normally. If I do log onto to cs, I will be online for at least a half an hour at a time.

Do you agree to be helpful and polite to your newbie at all times?: Of course! Why would I want to help someone, and then be rude or mean? I also have big patience, so no worries.

Roleplaying Example: Andy stood up and left to go hunt. As he made his way over to the clearing, he smiled, seeing a doe. He crouched down, ready to attack. He started a run for it, and a fae caught the corner of his eye. 'Was that?' No, it couldn't be. He was sure she was dead. He hadn't seen her since the day of the stampede. It killed their mother, but Nikas body was never found. Andy was sure animals had gotten to her. But now, who was the wolf he saw. Over all this, he didn't get a good grip on the doe and lost balance, falling off. The fall knocked the wind out of him slightly, but he felt fine after a few seconds. He stood back up, watching his catch run off. He stood there, looking around for Nika, but no one was there. He sighed and looked down. "Andy?" A voice called from the bracken. Andy's ears pricked to the voice that only he knew as... Nika! He whipped around, seeing the one person whom been missing for months. "Nika!" He said running to her. She laughed a little and looked to her brother. "Yes, it's me." Nika said with a smile. She looked around the area. "So, is this where you live?" Nika asked. Andy shook his head. "Yeah, I live here with a pack." He said. "You should stay for a bit." He said. Nika nodded. "I see, I don't think I would like pack life, but staying for a few days wouldn't hurt." She said shaking her fur, then following Andy back to camp.

I think I should be able to adopt a newbie because I have made many mistakes,
MANY, and I just want to help newbies so they don't have to go though all the
things I have. I think I should be able to adopt a newbie because I have some
pretty good knowledge of ChickenSmoothie and I think I could really help a
newbie out!

Trading and Pets
Should only be applied to by people who have basic knowledge to trading. How to
set up a trade, add items and pets, how to find pets that are for trade, how to set
up trade rules, how to organize pets, how to set trade visibility settings on pet
groups, and how to find pets in the archives. You don't have to be a super-active
trader, just know how trading works.

Rarities
Requirement: Pass the rarities test that will be sent to you through PM
Should only be applied to by people who know how to explain how different things
effect how much a pet is worth, be able to tell if a trade is fair, and know what
would be fair for certain pets. You should also know how to trade up. If you fail
the test nothing bad happens, you just won't be put into that category, so it doesn't
hurt to try.

Maybe 30 minutes to check my Rps, trades, messages and stuff to an hour or more
to make an auction maybe, talk with my friends.

Why should you be able to adopt a newbie?: I've been on the site for a sizable chunk of time and I'd like to be able to show someone else the ropes. For the most part I sort of enjoy teaching other people and am pretty patient.

How often do you get on CS?: Just about every day for a couple hours a day.

How long do you typically spend on CS each day you get on?: I typically leave CS open while I'm doing other things, so it can be anywhere between a couple hours to three or four, depending on what I'm doing on the computer that day. In the summer I do work longer days since it is lighter out, but until March or April I'm free a lot of the time.

I think I should be able to adopt a newbie because I want to share my love for CS with other users that don't quite understand how fun it can be yet I also love helping people. I try to never be mean, and don't get impatient if someone doesn't understand something right away. I realize that this is quite a responsibility because a newbie's adopter can completely change what a newbie think about CS, and I would like to give them the best impression possible
