His shift finished, and the repair he'd been working on finished, the Aqua grunt wondered if Kaiba could use help in the infirmary. Probably- as far as he knew, Richard was still out of action, and it was just the Lucario working. Besides, he was having one of those days...
He needed to be busy. Decision made, he set off for the infirmary.

[Whistle.Concert]

Kaiba pricked his ears, hearing both the cracking of the egg, and the gentle flutter of sheets as his master got out of bed. "You're not getting anywhere, sir. Get back in that bed."
He quickly turned his head to glare at the human. "Today is...Slow. And you need the rest. Get back in the bed."

Spear smiled, though she moved back a little to give the egg some room, as for most bird pokemon, it was tratitional to not help the young hatch, it was to see how strong the hatchling would be after all. Though the fearow didnt like standing back, she wanted to help her hatchling into the world. she ruffled her feathers in anoyance.

The grunt reached the doors just in time to hear Kaiba's comment. "Ah, we're awake then, Doctor. Kaiba's right; you won't help anybody if you don't heal yourself up first. Come, you should know that!"
He spoke as he entered, stepping through the door to see that Spear's egg was about to hatch. At least she's got one... Kaiba had also acquired another patient. Oh... that was Mia. He hadn't known that Mariah's Glaceon was pregnant... Huh.

[Whistle.Concert]

Kaiba turned back, smiling a little bit. "True to your word, I see. The good doctor is indeed awake. However, he is not to leave his bed for a little while longer, at least."

Mia looked at the electrician, tail wagging a little bit. "Well, there was this really nice Mightyena that helps in the kitchens, and we kind of hit it off, hehe.."
She looked down at her stomach. "Kaiba says there's four babies~"

Spear looked over"congrats, at least with you you can keep them safe"She comented returning her gaze back to the egg.

"Always," he answered the Lucario, doing a small bow. He'd said he'd help where and when he could, and he'd meant that. He shot a strange glance at Mia. Telepathy? He hadn't said anything to the Pokémon.
Maybe she'd read the question in his eyes when he looked at her- he'd probably seemed surprised and she'd responded. Satisfied, he dropped it, asking Kaiba if there was anything he could do, or anything the Lucario could teach him.

[Whistle.Concert]

Kaiba gave a small snicker, before taking the prod away from Mia's stomach. "Nothing at the moment. It's a rather slow day. In fact, I've noticed that even amongst all the chaos, there's less casualties than before...Still plenty, but we're no longer so overwhelmed."
He grinned a bit, though he turned as Mia growled a bit.

The Glaceon's eyes narrowed. "I know you are sad about your eggs, but please don't say things like that. It's not my fault I am a mammal and don't lay eggs.."

"...Really?"
The grunt frowned slightly. The base was in chaos; they were fighting each other far, far more frequently than before. And yet the infirmary was quiet? He'd seen some of those fights, had thought that poor Kaiba would have his hands full.
But maybe... Maybe the fights were worse than he'd realised. "Oh..."

He glanced up at Spear's exclamation, briefly wondering what the Pokémon were arguing over.
