I may have to redo some of lord of the rings rp plots O.o i started playing skyrim and sort of got inspired and now i'm tempted to write an rp that goes along with hobbit characters too O.o

I'm probably going to have a Lord of the Rings birthday party! I'm super excited my birthday is in February, but I'm planning already XD if you guys have any ideas, I'd love to hear them! I've been poking around online, but most of the people that have LotR birthdays are 10-12 year old boys.

Do you have a favorite race? Because then, say, if you love hobbits, then you could plan some silly hobbit-games and tricks for your guests. c; And then if you have a preference to elves, you could dress up as one or something. They're not as "lively" as hobbits I suppose.. .3. You could also acquire a pitcher similar to Galadriel's to pour your drinks... and... hmm.. I shall think on this some more. .D.

I'm (hopefully) getting a medieval/elvish dress for christmas. I'm going to ask people to dress up. If it's not freezing there will be some things outdoors, under one of those big pop-up tents. Twinkle lights will be involved Food isn't too hard, there's lost of LotR-themed food ideas out there, and the LotR soundtrack will be the music. As for activities, maybe a scavenger hunt? I need more activity ideas, especially.

A few ideas I've thought up/come across:

-Make and word the invitations such as Bilbo did in the books! Very polite and mannerly, like a good hobbit should be. c; And then maybe put up a sign in your front yard saying: "No admittance, except on party business."
-If you're celebrating The Hobbit as well, maybe buy something that might come from Mirkwood... such as sticky spider spray. SPRAY EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING. xDDD
-A "speak friend and enter" sign over your doorway. :o
-And if you don't get that dress for Christmas... go get yourself a fancy/fellowship cloak! :D
