Skye didn't look at the girl. Just the faling of the rain. "I would not like to impose. But if you would like an escort home, I would not mind." He said, pushing off the wall and straightening his head with his left hand before letting it hang to his side. "Miss Sohma, correct? The manor is not far from here if memory serves." He said, looking up the road. He spoke with the intelect of a scholar and the stature of a butler.

Akane nodded. "I don't really mind. You can do what you want..." She trailed off, nearly dissappearing down a trail. The wind was biting and the rain didn't help much either- she just wanted to go home. She patted her dress pocket to make sure she had a key; thankfully she had. She waited for the stranger to reply.

Skye only nodded and walked to Akane's side. "It would not be fitting to leave you on your own in this weather. As well as leave my cloak in your possession." He said, still not smiling or changing his tone. "Shall we?" He said, looking at her briefly before turning his head to face forward and beganto walk.

Akane stared bemused after him. Wiping the look off from her face, she followed him down the path. The sky was extremely dark, only a glimmer of the full moon to be seen through the clouds. She reached the gates of her house, unlocking the lock with a click! She opened a parting, allowing her through. She held it open for her guest. "Sorry how rude of me; I didn't catch your name?" She asked genuinely.

Skye shook his head. "My name is of no importance, as well as for rudeness, I am the one you should apologize, should I not?" He said, not moving beyond the gate. It was not his place to be. "It seems the rain as stopped. It is quite late. You should be off to bed." He said, only watching her.

Akane shrugged slightly, carefully undoing the cloak from her neck. "Here is your cloak back- thank you for letting me borrow it." She pushed it into his hands, smiling as she let go and shut her gate. "Night." She said with a glance back. She opened the door to her manor, rooms warm and inviting. She untied her shoes and slipped upstairs- her parents won't be back for hours.

Skye bowed his head as a farewell and tied his cloak aroung his shoulders before walking away. Without another sou on the streets, he thought it wouls be alright, so he vanished with the wind. He appeared in te rundown area of town, walking up to those who were hungry or cold and helping them any way he can.

Riko shifted her position sleepy. The morning sun was beating her through the trees, she opened her human eyes sharp and bright. She stretched in what little room she had and managed to change into a cross-legged position in her hide-out. Stretching her arms and neck, she had a look around for her sword- she didn't find it. Suddenly she realized. She was in human form. Scrabbling out onto the thick branch, she leaped off it, landing squarely on two feet. Dried leaves and forest debris rised around her, swirling like a storm. The force of it should had shattered any normal human bones but it was Riko. She idly walked around, hoping to find breakfast in the form of a citizian. As she walked, she stretchd out her cramp muscles, ready to fight as she wiggled her shoulders. Flicking back her brown hair, she eyed someone crossing her path on the main trail.

Akane woke with a shudder. It was extremely cold; she frowned. Why was it so cold? She swung her covers off and changed into a casual outfit- matching, ofcourse. She wrapped a shawl around her shoulders and walked out of her room, closing the door firmly. As she turned around, she stared in horror. The front door was open and the house clearly ransacked. She searched for her parents but they weren't in. Fretting, she grabbed a basket and shoved a load of supplies and clothes in. She ran out and briskly walked to James'.

James yawned. The sun was shining through the curtains brightly. He groaned and sat up, stifling a yawn. He turned to see the dragon- it wasn't there. Shock went through his body until he found it perched on the ledge watching the sun. Smiling slightly, he changed into some 'comfort clothes' until a loud rap from the front door made him snap his head around. Grabbing the dragon gently, he hid it in a corner, hoping it would stay there. Closing the door, he walked down the stairs and opened the door.

Skye was goig up the path so he could feed his animal and didn't freeze upon Riko's glare and continued walking. His clothes already dried from the night before. The sun beating through the trees was nothing to him. He felt no warmth or happiness from it, just the cold feeling of death left within him. He didn't speak as he passed and went along on his way.

Knight was sleeping in Skye's cabin, tired and lazy. He was always doing what he wanted, not caring at all. The dark attic of the cabin was comforting to him. He could sleep without the disturbance of the sunlight. Blazer flew over the town as he did and Rioku was in the meadow, looking after the silver carnations, but his ears perked at the sound of a group, laughing and going over some things they had in a large rucksack. Something was strange.

Mayia woke up, a little more energized. "Good morning Hunter." She said with a soft smile and stroking his ears. He was already awake. They stood and began walking back to the streets of town, just to get a little excersize. Hunter at her side, ready to help when he was needed.

"Akane?" He said with a raised eyebrow. She walked in, dumping her stuff in the hallway. "Yes it's me. House ransacked, parents gone- the usual." He rolled his eyes and grabbed her stuuf, walking up the stairs to put it all in a spare bedroom. Akane looked around, acknowledging the different rooms and elemental sources. She found the fish tank and slyly made a water ball, enclosing the tiny fish in it. The goldfish gulped repeatedly before settling down. James walked down the stairs, turning for the living room. In surprise, Akane dropped the water ball before catching it just before it smashed into the floor. Caarefully placing it back, she stared at the fish with innocence.

James raised an eyebrow; "I'll show you to your room." He said shortly. Akane shrugged and followed him, loosing him as they navigated through the corridoors. She opened a random door, finding a nicely furnished room. To her surprise, she found a baby dragon playing with Angel. "Erm..." Akane began, shortly finding herself with James. "Yes. Fine. I am a Dragon Rider." His eyes flickered with annoyance. The sapphire blue dragon bounded around, already 5 times bigger than yesterday. Akane pondered about telling him her secret- better not. She reached down and stroked the dragon, just missing the snapping jaws. James, a tiny voice said in his head. He butted it out, annoyed. James. A sudden thought popped into his head- it must be the dragon. Yes? He thought, as loud as he could. Maybe, he wondered, I should name it. The dragon showed happiness in his mind.

Riko stepped out of her hideout in her human form. "Do you have any money to spare, kind sir?" She said sweetly through gritted teeth. Her smile was fake and her eyes were brown and open.
