Amy looked at the vial sadly; she had really hoped it would solve their problems. "...What do you want me to do with this?" she asked quietly.

Emily smiled and hugged Ember back. "Although... I really do think you're starting to look more like your old self..."

Old...Ember was getting on in years, but it never showed. He nuzzled her softly.

"I don't know if I should trust him...I've never met him before..." Pride sighed.

Ember pinned his ears back...she was human, she'd grow up, grow old and soon, die...and all he could do is watch it happen...

Ember nuzzled her, pretty much wrapping her up in a bed of warm fur. He wished he could talk to her...

Emily closed her eyes with a soft yawn. "Dad... you gotta stop... putting me to sleep..." She smiled a bit. "I'm not a little kid anymore..." She drifted off to sleep.
