Actually, I just fiddled with the Vortex Manipulator a bit, and changed it so that I could travel between dimensions instead of places or times. There was enough energy in it for me to get here and back. Unfortunately, though, I didn't take into account the fact that I couldn't choose where I was going, so, first, I landed in a completely different dimension, I checked for the Doctor, but he wasn't there, so I tried again. I was hoping for home, but I ended up here and found him, but there's no way for me to get back, rendering the point of my finding him useless.
The humans need him. They're being destroyed because no one is there to protect them. Now I'm not even there.
