The girl was up and ready in a small floral dress and some sandy ankles high heels. She walked with
her dad and got her blood taken and once she had done, she kissed him goodbye. Knowing that all this
time when she was in the arena, he would be alone. She had a brother and a sister who both died in
training and she didn't want to let him down. Her mother also died of a type of cancer so she knew that
if she was killed or died in anyway, her father would be alone and depressed, no doubt about. She stood
in the crowd of girls. If she wasn't picked, then fine, but if she was, she was ready to kick butt. As the men
were called, a tribute volunteered, Tyler Vanity. Okay, she had to admit, he was hot and all but he could be
an arrogant teenager who cares about nothing but himself. She did train with him and both of them were determined.
When the female tribute was called, all she heard was, "Megan Flanagan." The girl gave a small smirk to herself and then walked out the crowd and then through the gap and onto the stage with a smirk on her. Meg looked over at Tyler and smiled before looking forwards at everyone else.

Amber WoodlandThey kept coming. The creatures dug their claws deeper into her every time she started to lose energy. Amber ran faster and faster, as they seemingly glided up to her. She took sharp turns, and kept running faster and faster, her lungs feeling as if they would simply give out. Then she saw an axe, which seemingly just popped up out of no where, but she wasn't complaining. Amber gripped the axe, and swung, decapitating one of them with a single swing. She threw the axe at the next one, landing it in the center of its face, right in between its glowing red eyes. Those feiry reds would haunt her for months to come, surely. Amber had nothing left to throw, so she resorted to her fists. She was rather good at this, as she often play-fought with the boys on her street, as that is what Amber Woodland did. She was not compatible with girls. But there were too many. You kick one in the head, two came right back at her. Finally, the creatures jumped on top of her, and Amber, helpless as they bound her wrists behind her, screamed.Amber bolted up right, gasping for air. Her green eyes bright, and wide with fear. She fought to catch her breath as she looked to see her fists were gripped so tight against the knitted blanket, her knuckles has turned white, and her finger nails had left indents in her palms. Amber sighed, and looked over at her window, seeing the sun was barely over the horizon. She closed her eyes, and bit her lip as she swung her long legs over the side of the bed. As her feet hit the cold hard wood flooring, a shock ran though out the girls body. She stood up slowly, as her eyes struggled to open after the lack of sleep. Than again, the night before the reaping had never really been easy on her mind. Amber strode across her small room to the hallway, where she walked to the bathroom. After washing her face, and brushing her teeth, Amber walked back to her oom, and looked around, deciding on something tpo wear. Amber being Amber, she decided on some black jeans and a tee shirt, before her mother walked in and scolded her. Apperently she was supposed to look presentable today, and she would have to wear a dress. Amber shuddered at the very thought as her mother laid out a floral short dress. Amber rolled her eyes, and threw on the dress, discusted with her appearance. She looked like such a girly girl, and she was not content with it at all. Though she wanted her mother to be happy, so she applied light makeup, and left her hair down. Amber felt too dressed up, but she did get her way with some converse sneakers, a rarity in district seven. Only worn for special occasions. Amber sighed as she walked out of the small house, not saying good bye. She walked along the usual path, picking an apple from the tree she always hung by. Some of her friends commented on her rather feminine apprearance, though she blew it of. "If my face is on television, I will look better than you.." she countered as she pushed one of them into a mud puddle. Everyone laughed, as she helped the boy back up, and laughed. He laughed along with her, shoving her into a tree. It would have hurt, if she wasn't Amber. She laughed, as she continued on with the day. After this was all over, she was planning on going out to the big oak to hang out and celebrate. But little did she know, that she would not be attending that party."And the female tribute for district seven.." the cheery announcer said as she twirled her hand in a glass bowl. "Amber Woodland!" She held her breath, as her deep green eyes searched for her friends, and they equally puzzled looked back at her. She was not going to the party. She was going to the hunger games. Amber gritted her teeth as she walked up to the stage, and stared into the crowd.(sorry if there are some errors.. I am on an I Pad.)
